HOTEL HORIZON INTERNATIONAL GURUVAYUR

Let me tell the positive first, the restaurant and the food they served were excellent in quality. Our whole family enjoyed the dishes. Restaurant was neat and tidy. Then comes the negative. Did a bulk booking few weeks before our scheduled program. But when we went there the assigned rooms had issues with A/C and toilets. They arranged a mechanic, he came and had a check but not succeeded. Later they provided another room but again had some issues with A/C. After some talks they provided us another room. Hotel wifi was weak and they told us may be not available in some rooms. Actually hotels with international tags should have more quality in their services. They are in a prime location, if they won’t utilise it with their customer services they can’t win the race.

Location wise hotel is at a walking distance to Guruvayur Krishna Temple. Name is international but not in standards. Hotel doesn't provide kettle, coffee/tea/ milk powder sachets, no hair drier no proper toiletries kit. Lady receptionist unlike her male counterpart was very helpful in providing an alternate room as the one allotted had AC problem

Family room was spacious, though there was only one bathroom. Room service was good. The restaurant attached had average tasting food though their service was great and courteous. · Free hotel Wifi was pretty weak and non-reliable. The management should add shower curtain to separate the bath area of restroom from the rest/sink. Better if they provide toilet tissues too.

The hotel and staff of Hotel Horizon is extremely helpful and professional, from Day one they never said ‘NO’ to any of our request. Jayshree Panicker is their most valuable employee. she has immense knowledge of how to organise and execute a Hindu marriage, even after the marriage she has been assisting in getting my daughter’s marriage certificate. The property is very spacious, has a good entrance. Rooms are decent. The food is very delicious and the feedback from our guests have been positive, The whole wedding for us was nothing short of a miracle, Lord Krishna Blessing.

Toilets were not well maintained in the room. Breakfast provided (complimentary) was good, but the service was pathetic. The food was not filled immediately, but had to request to fill them. Tea, water, etc was not available in the buffet room and had to request separately, which was delaying the schedule.

We had a marriage function in this hotel. They helped us right from getting marriage slot from the temple to arranging hall for our rituals.. they also courteous enough to arrange our additional needs and requirements such as coconuts, flowers etc. Their marriage hall is elegant that can accommodate 150-200 guests. It was well air conditioned. Stage was decorated as per our needs and they provided utensils that are needed to conduct marriage ceremonies. The hall had a jula also. Rooms were neat and clean and were air conditioned. Food served in the hotel are homely and safe for your guts. The Sadhya we had there worth calling out. They were flexible enough to accommodate all our needs.. We came all the way from Tamil Nadu to conduct this marriage and they helped us a lot to conduct the function very smoothly. Highly recommending this if you plan to stay near to the temple or have plans to conduct marriage in Guruvayur.

Very close to the Temple. We had my daughter's wedding here. Very good property, great arrangements, good hall, good rooms, good sadya. Moreover they arrange everything that is required for a wedding. One has to come with the bride and groom and the guests. Jayshree madam was of great help. She was always available to see the finer details and do all the running that's required during a wedding.

Her reliability and dedication throughout the event truly stood out. The food served was excellent, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Guruvayur Temple made it a convenient and ideal location for our stay. I highly recommend Hotel Horizon for any event or stay near Guruvayur.
