Paloma Back Water Resort

I had a mixed experience at this resort. The pool and speedboat services were great, and I enjoyed those amenities. However, the surroundings were quite disappointing – the ground floor and grass field were flooded with water, and the overall cleanliness could have been better. Additionally, the food was very overpriced for what was offered. While the resort has potential, there are areas that need improvement, especially in terms of maintenance and value for money.

Paloma Backwater Resort is a fantastic getaway! We booked a private pool villa, and the experience was truly relaxing. The villa was well-maintained, and the backwater views were absolutely stunning. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary shikara ride (One hour ride), which was a delightful experience, along with the option for fishing, also included at no extra cost. There were other activities like kayaking (₹750 per person). The staff provided excellent service – they were attentive, friendly, and ensured we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. While the location is peaceful, it’s worth noting that the resort is about 10 kilometers away from the main city, which could be inconvenient for some travelers. Additionally, the food, though decent, is quite expensive. One issue we faced was with the private pool – it seemed to contain an excessive amount of chemicals, which unfortunately discolored our swimwear, turning them pink. This was a disappointment in an otherwise wonderful stay. Overall, Paloma Backwater Resort is highly recommended for its serene ambiance, amazing views, and exceptional service, but the pool maintenance could use some improvement.

The dishes were crafted with love, highlighting the freshest local ingredients and offering a delightful range of vegetarian delicacies that tantalized our taste buds. Excellent resort for family Excellent atmosphere and ambience. Rooms were neatly maintained and the staffs were very co operative. Free boat ride was a pleasant surprise

The resort has great rooms and the view of backwaters is amazing! Service and staff response was prompt and good. Activies like kayaking, cycling, shikara ride provide the additional entertainment, though fishing is waste of time 😄. Lighting in the room can be improved by providing 1 bright light to improve the experience to 5 stars. Food is good but very pricey.

This is a great resort with amazing infinity pool, you can enjoy the breath taking views from here and very ideal for a good relaxation vacation. Staff behaviour is so polite and food is also excellent. They offer you few complimentary activities as well. I would definitely recommend you to go with this if you are looking for good luxurious stay. Rooms and balconies are also well designed.

We stayed there for 1 night and it was good. The location is a bit hard to reach because of narrow roads, but the view is amazing! We went for activities, and the fishing is a scam, there aren't any fishes around . The rooms are clean and good👍 definitely somewhere to visit, especially if you like water activities.

The location is absolutely fantastic and enhances the overall stay. The lakeside rooms are truly beautiful! The views are stunning, and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The service across the board was excellent, The reception, restaurant, housekeeping staff were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak in our room, improving it a bit would make the experience even better.
