Talayar Valley Bungalow

Fantastic location with a great view. Good service by the team - Chefs Prabhu and Siva and the Manager John were very helpful and responsive. Also the other staff were well behaved and courteous . Thank you for making it a memorable stay with our family.||The property is located uphill and surrounded by lust green tea plantations. The bungalow is Victorian style and very calm and make us feel close to nature surrounded by mountains.The food was excellent and the best part of the stay apart from the fabulous views.||The manager John took us through trekking across the tea estate to watch the beautiful view points. We had a visit to their tea factory and he explained the process and also we explored the private waterfall and had a wonderful time.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights in the magnolia suite. The property had an old world charm and was away from crowded Munnar. The furniture and furnishings are due for some renovation though. ||The views from the property and the walks just outside were fantastic! || The hospitality extended to us by the staff was great. From Vaishali at the booking desk to Jayesh the manager, John at the property and the cook Prabhu. They were all very polite and friendly and accommodated all our requests with a smile. The food was great. ||This is a great place if you want a break from the city and want some calm and quiet close to nature!

We had booked the Talayar Valley bungalow for 2 N/3D for our family at Munnar and enjoyed the stay very much. Right from Mr. Jayesh who coordinated our booking to Mr. John who kept us busy with small treks and the Tea factory visit it was enjoyable all the way. The Chef Mr. Prabhu and his colleague Mr. Shiva kept our taste buds satisfied with their culinary expertise. The view from the bungalow is very scenic and the decor of all the rooms has an antique look taking us back to the British era. I would recommend this place very much to anyone who wants to have an exclusive get together for the family at Munnar without the usual holiday crowd.

Once I zeroed in the option of mountain stay at Munnar , my choice was one and only Briar . We had been to Briar properties in Valparai twice , Sirukundra and Stanmore . My choice never left my family dissatisfied even for a while . Mr John and his staff treated us like royal guest and served us delicious meals .The chef from Theni would go the extra mile to serve a wholesome platter with mouth watering delicacies. | My praise for Mr John would be overwhelming as he took all efforts to make our stay very very pleasant . He treated us like his family member and took us on a plantation trek and factory visit besides an enjoyable time at the riverside . | In a nutshell , our stay at Talayar Valley Bungalow was a bliss.

Beautiful bunglow with four large bed rooms similar to a 5 star hotel with all amenities. We stayed there from 6 th to 8 th of this month. Staff are very courteous and food was excellent. A very pleasant in a quaint tea estate Bungalow amidst nature. The management is very friendly and supportive. We traveled with my elderly mother and my 3yr old kid. Didn't face a single problem. Perfect for staycation.|Highly recommend. ||Dr Ankita
