Stayed here recently and had a wonderful experience. Rooms were neat and service very good. The entire place has a homely feel thanks to the attentive staff. We had breakfast and thali lunch with fish which was excellent. Thanks to the entire team for a fabulous stay . Will be our preferred choice of stay when we visit Kannur again..hopefully soon.

What an incredibly quaint hotel! It's in a beautiful old home filled with teak ceilings and accents. The food was delicious (included breakfast, and then we went to the outdoor restaurant for dinner). It's a very small hotel with (I'd guess) about 6 rooms so it was very quiet (though we were there in the off-season so I don't know if it gets more crowded during the cooler/dryer months). The hotel connected us with a driver who we booked for the afternoon to take us to some sites, which was really helpful as Uber and Ola don't operate in Kannur. I would 100% recommend staying here!

Our stay at Surya Heritage was a wonderfully positive experience. We had taken 3 rooms for a 3 night stay, not having done much research, and what an absolute gem we had stumbled upon!! The ambience, the staff, the food, and everything else were just perfect. Our first impression was that the rooms were a little dimly lit, but we soon realised that was part of what made the place so quaint and old worldly, and wouldn't want it any other way. The staff, especially Shilpa at reception, the lady in charge of catering, and Saji who manages the place, are absolute professionals and incredible people. Their personal attention to detail to make us feel comfortable was quite extraordinary. While this place is a wonderful choice for any occasion, I would especially recommend Surya Heritage for family get togethers, especially for those who come from afar to spend some quality time together. All hassles are taken care of in this self sufficient place, in a most non-intrusive and beautiful way.

The Hotel location is superb. The surrounding area is very peaceful. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are quite good and give a vibe of old time. They serve complementary juice and fruits when you reach there.

Excellent stay option in centre of Kannur Great location. Excellent food. Lovely rooms. Fabulous staff. Perfect stay! Stayed here for a night. Well appointed rooms. High ceilings, 4 poster beds, loads of teak wood furnishings, Well appointed bathrooms too. Food was the real highlight. We had a sumptuous dinner. Abhilash - the F & B Manager personally ensured that we had great food. Being a hands-on Manager, he was happy to serve us and take care of us too. The food was absolutely delicious with all the local flavours coming through. Seafood is their speciality and it is highly recommended. Overall, a great experience. Never felt like staying in a hotel, but in a luxurious heritage home!

Had the most amazing stay . Thank you Manu the GM , Amal , Shilpa , Rijho for your superb hospitality and kindness. The food was just outstanding and a word of appreciation to the chef too . Would certainly recommend this hotel
