The Artiste, Kochi, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

It was a good stay, the rooms are very comfy and it does not have the usual hotel vibe. There is art everywhere you look, being very true to its name The Artiste. It was indeed a peaceful stay, even though its in a very busy part of the city. |The staffs went above and beyond our expectations, especially Annu, Vishnu, Aswini and Angel. |The food is good too, the breakfast buffet although it doesnt have a wide variety, but whatever was there tasted yum. Having forum mall nearby is really good too, opening us more options to have food and shop. Overall it was a good stay and will definitely come again.

Hey, a few of our cousins decided to meet up at artist restaurant. The food spread is only as good as a 3 star restaurant with limited options. Most of the food was hidden out with no written communication on what’s available. The unfriendly staff were only eager to close the restaurant than serve guests. Ambience is brilliant but food was below average. The customer service levels also sub standard with waiters standing in corners. With a miss and never recommend!

Very spacious rooms, amazing facilities with gym & pool. Delicious breakfast, lunch & dinner (we tried all 3) and most importantly the staff was the best I have ever witnessed in a hotel. Amazing service, they even let us eat dinner right before midnight even though the dinner usually closes at 11, so welcoming you wouldn’t get this anywhere else. This was my first time in India and next time in Kerala I will 100% book this hotel again.

We had a great stay with family here. Interesting interior design and a very nice respite away from the city chaos. Direct connection into the mall is super convenient. We had a lovely time at Breakfast and Rahul Dev went over and above in terms of service. Rooms were clean and well maintained but could be better lit. The entrance to the hotel could also be made a bit clearer. Would definitely recommend the place!

I have always trusted Marriott hotels to deliver exceptional experiences, but this particular stay was a major disappointment. I booked a backwater view room through the Bonvoy app over a month ago, paying an extra fee for the experience. However, upon arrival, the concierge informed me that there had been a glitch in the app and that no backwater view rooms were available. This raises the question: what is the point of booking a specific room in advance if the hotel cannot honor it? To make matters worse, I was given what appeared to be the worst room available, with a direct view of a noisy construction site on the balcony. This was despite the fact that I had clearly mentioned during booking that it was for my honeymoon and that I was unwell. The construction began as early as 6 a.m., depriving me of any chance to rest peacefully. Although the concierge offered a complimentary dinner as compensation, by the time I went to dine, much of the menu was already unavailable. It is baffling that the hotel did not take the initiative to change my room to one without a construction site view. While I must commend the restaurant staff for their courteous service and note that the room itself was well-maintained with new furniture, this cannot overshadow the overall frustration of my stay. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience so others are aware of the subpar service at this hotel. I deeply regret choosing this property for such a special occasion.

We had the best breakfast experience! The buffet was incredible, offering a wide variety of dishes from North and South Indian cuisine to continental options, and everything was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was equally impressive, creating a perfect setting to enjoy our meal. Overall, a fantastic breakfast that exceeded our expectations!

Our stay at Artiste was as amazing as it could get. The staff took care of every small detail and also arranged a beautiful surprise that we loved. The place is within the city and has easy access from most of the places in city. I’d like to extend my thanks to Tina (from restaurant) and Annu and entire staff for their hospitality.

The hotel was amazing, from the way the rooms were set up to the awesome service from the staff. Gotta hand it to them for being super polite and friendly. And the best part? The temperature-controlled swimming pool, which made the stay even more special. If I had to nitpick, there were a few power outages at night, which was a bit of a bummer. But overall, everything was really nice, and I had a great time.
