Kochi Marriott Hotel

I picked this hotel for its proximity to the metro and the mall. The rooms are great, the breakfast is good and the room service is fine. The room service food menu is extensive, chicken tikka and tandoori chicken were our favorite. The burgers were great and kids loved it. Chef sent us some special treats and munchies to the room. The staff were professional and amazing, hands down some of the best I have come across in my travels.

Consider this a love letter to all the people working there. They treated us with as much hospitality on day 35 as they did on day one. The staff were helpful and incredibly kind. I have never had so many people go above and beyond their regular job duties consistently.||The security and driving staff always greeted us with a smile (everyone did, actually). Rosmi has the brightest smile, full of joy and true warmth, even on the hottest and most humid days. ||Whenever we entered the hotel, Rose, Aleena, Meenu, and the other female greeters asked about our day. Every time. Safwan was sure to grin and say hello no matter how occupied he was. He was always efficient and friendly when assisting with luggage, bags, or other needs. ||The concierge staff by the entrance were so helpful with whatever request or question we had.||The restaurant, Kochi Kitchen, is run efficiently and smoothly under the direction of Joseph, Sarif, Rinoy, and Vivek (and the numerous other gentlemen). We were always swiftly guided to a beautifully set table. Sarif got to know our regular morning beverage order so well that the drinks arrived before we even had to ask. ||They were so engaging and generous in helping our family navigate local food customs and introducing our family to foods that weren’t familiar, but were absolutely delicious. ||The chefs were constantly asking to ensure the food was meeting all our needs. Moha, Mohammed, and the pastry chef recommended dishes and helped to clarify ingredients. They checked to see if we needed to order anything special or additional that wasn’t on the set buffet. Prateek, Abirag, Nongsal, Yinglong, Nisha, and Five Boy were just a few of the servers that have provided exceptional service during our meals, no matter how long their days and short their nights were.||Sujidt, Amal, and Ameth ensured our rooms were as comfortable and clean as possible - no easy task with a family of four living in the hotel full time. They were discreet and professional, while also being incredibly friendly. ||I will always recommend the Marriott Kochi at LuLu Mall for any travelers to the area.||The staff at this location made our entry into India even better than I could have imagined.||The rooms are SO comfortable (amazing showers that I do miss), the gym is spacious and modern, the pool is great, and the spa is perfect!

I visited the Kochi Marriott yesterday to book a suite room for my family of 4 (myself, my wife and our two kids, aged 9 and 12). To my surprise and disappointment of their 3-person per room policy, I was told that I would need to book 2 rooms for 4 people. The policy is completely impractical and unreasonable for a typical family of 4 who would normally stay in one suite or even a regular room. As someone who has traveled extensively and stayed at numerous hotels around the world, i have never encountered such a rigid and family unfriendly policy. Marriott is known for its family-friendly reputation but this experience fell far too short of expectations. It's deeply frustrating to see such a lack of consideration for families and the hope corporate and their management reconsiders this approach. I would not recommend this hotel.

Have been staying there for 21 days. Fantastic staff. Nothing is trouble for them. Fantastic breakfast. Especially, I want to mention Gourav and Prasanth. Also the girls who decorated our room on our wedding anniversary and the girls and boys at the breakfast service. Want to say a BIG thank you to all.

Had an amazing stay, the hotel was veey luxurious and the restaurant was very amazing. Hats off to the team for their excellent service! Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in the city. The breakfast buffet was great, everything was super delicious.

Excellent service, superb location, and also has a brilliant spa to boot. I went for business and presented both in their board room and the main hall. The staff are very welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was allowed to go to my room at 10 am even though the norm was 3 pm. Overall a great experience and a hotel I would definitely recommend if you are travelling to Kochi in the South of India.
