Zion Plaza - Hotel near Airport

The exact location on google maps is correct. It means you can take an auto rickshaw or walk there from the airport (1.6 km), though the latter part of a walk is unpleasant (rather dark road with potholes). It took some time for the receptionist to arrive, but the check-in procedure went smoothly.||Standard room with fan was comfortable. The room with attached bathroom, sheets and towel were clean. WiFi worked well.||Very businesslike atmosphere with a small lobby (not exactly a cosy place). 'Total' price on booking site and 'end price' are different. Better to list prices on booking sites including taxes and charges.

First impression - you are received well. No hassles during check in. For people, not used to climbing stairs, will find it difficult as there is NO LIFT / ELEVATOR. Mine was a single occupancy room so it was not very spacious. The washroom is small but is clean. It would have been better had they provide toiletries (only shower gel and hand wash was provided). The wash basin is placed at the head end of the bed. The linen provided is clean too. Room service is available. A car is available to ferry tourists to the airport (charged separately). The staff is very courteous. The approach road suggested by the GPS led me through a narrow road to this place. I am sure there might be better way to arrive here. Overall, it is value for money.

I have to give a 2 because the offer said breakfast was included and it wasnt. Also rooms arent as tidy as shown; There is a pic of Jesus on the reception, so it should be known that by the first testament we Christians should be truthful despite of convenience It was not the worst experience though, you might still be ok with it if you wanna save money and be close to the airport Giorgio

We stayed in a executive room. It is sufficient for three people and mostly for the people who stay for a smaller period of time like one or two days. It is around 1.5 km away from the airport. The hotel manager is very helpful. Hot water geyser is solar powered so there are chances you will have less warm water in the early mornings.

Very poorly managed. The flush wasn't working and the bathroom door didn't have a latch on the outside neither did it have any hook or hanger to hang any clothes. Complaining to the management didn't make any difference. The bed was pathetic with broken spings. Couldn't sleep properly. All together a painful experience.

You get what you pay for, but this wasn’t even worth what we paid. The rooms are much more dated than the photos show, the linens and towels are dirty/stained, and there are no kettles in the rooms (when asked, we were provided a kettle for one of the room that they found in storage — appreciated! and adds the 1 star). The AC works well, but there is no hot water in the showers, just from the tap below it. One of the rooms was cold only. The only redeeming quality is the proximity to the airport.

This hotel is excellent to stay with family. very well maintained neat and clean. rooms. The staff are very friendly with guests. The overall very nice,and I had a very nice experience, I would highly recommend this place for your next stay...Rooms are hygenic and clean. Wash rooms are also very hygenic to use and have hot water facility.Manager Deepak is also very kind person. The best part is affordable to stay.

I've stayed a night with my family. We have booked online later we payed at place. Very clean and well maintained hotel rooms. I appreciate every aspect but i felt ventilation was not enough inside the room. AC does the job but non AC rooms are little harder. If not great deal for the price and found close to kochi international airport.
