We were a group of runners from Trivandrum participating in the Kollam half marathon. We arrived at 6 pm and stayed overnight. The dinner at the restaurant was very well made and tasty -the dal tadka and Aloo Gobi had authentic flavours. The chicken roast was perfectly cooked without too much spice.|Since we had to leave the hotel by 4:30 am for a 5 am start of our run, the hotel manager offered to arrange light breakfast at 4 am. It was a great gesture and they made veg sandwich, boiled banana, boiled eggs, toast , jam, butter, watermelon juice and tea. |Our runners enjoyed the same .|The rooms were very clean and well appointed . The AC was good .|All in all a very satisfying experience for an overnight stay.|The hotel also had a factory outlet of VLC cashew - one of the best known cashew factories in the state.|I would recommend the Nani for anyone visiting Kollam

For those who are on the roll, a best place to have a night stay or 2. At the heart of the city with even a movie theatre attached.|It has a gym, a small club room, a library ( all for nane sake - however)|Being in the heart of city has its call on room size and parking|Breakfast is great, tasty and healthy ( all steamed)

We had a disappointing stay at Nani Hotels, Kollam during our business trip. The breakfast was unacceptable (bad/worst) with bread covered in black fungus (photo attached). The rooms were old and in desperate need of renovation. We also faced an issue with the air conditioning at night, which was eventually resolved by the staff. Overall, the hotel requires significant improvements. Won't recommend to anyone Also our company stopped the stay booking with Nani hereafter

Overall the stay was ok. I stayed on a weekend as I had a half marathon event in Kollam. We walked from kollam railway station to the hotel (25 mins). We had luggage but there was no one to help neither the hotel really wanted to offer it. Rooms were small. Initially we were given a room that was stinking with cigarette smell and later we asked to change it. Car parking available but looked a bit small (we didn't need it but just an observation). The next morning my wife felt itchy and only then we realised there was lot of bed bugs. Breakfast was complementary buffet but not much choices. Average taste wise. Overall proximity to lot of station and one phone call away to taxi and auto were the positives.

An old hotel at the heart of the city. Being at the heart has its say in room size and parking. The room provides all facilities bif a 4 star equivalent. Dinner is on order and room service only, that too before 9.30. A 220sqft deluxe room costs you around 3k for 2. Very good for business trips Even a theatre is there next, if you want to relax

Location is excellent. Close vicinity to everything . Autos, trains, food joints. Just the rooms are very small for a family to move around. Good for solo or business people. Also didn't understand the concept of providing just 1 bottle of water per room with the tariff. They except 3 people ( I booked for 3 people ) to survive on one bottle of water. After that also no RO or refill available. We have to buy the water bottles.

Very popular Hotel and Location in Kollam. Limited Breakfast options, but rest all are commendable. Suggested for all types of travellers.
