"My stay at Hotel Dona Castle was generally okay. The rooms were clean, and the location is quite convenient. However, I was disappointed with the pricing. They charged me more than what was listed on online booking platforms, which felt unfair. The staff was polite but seemed inflexible when I brought up the price difference. The food was alright, and the facilities were decent, though nothing out of the ordinary. If you decide to stay here, I’d recommend booking online to avoid any surprises with the final bill."

Never book this hotel. It doesnt seem to be even a 1 star hotel at all. Poor facilities. No toileteries given other than soap. Only one towel was supplied for twin occupation. AC doesnt work properly. Cooling was poor. Room had dust. Drinking Water served seemed like duplicate refilled bottle of bisleri. The price we got from Agoda, was more than their peers in the city. Given the facilities, the price was way more than justifiable. Worst of all was that... One evening, one of their front office staff (not the one who was there when I checked in and checked out) with two other persons, came to our room saying in a threatening tone that when we use bathroom, water leaked to other floors. I was so upset with this attitude and questioned them whether it is their plumber's job or mine and what I can do about it.They said it is guest's responsibility ! It is not them but the guest is using the room and maintenance is guest's responsibility ! I was totally surprised and stood on my stand. Then they raised their voice and said if I speak any more they will beat me and used abusive language. I have never experienced such a thing before...that too from someone who works in hospitality !. I had an important appointment the next day and hence I didnt say a word after that. Another experience of getting shouted by the staff heard from another person stayed during the same time when we spoke after checking out. They were asked for extra money for breakfast served which was complementary! There was only one breakfast item....have you heard such things about star hotels in cities ? Very bad experience. Waste of money and time. So avoid this hotel.

My experience at Hotel Dona Castle was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. Upon entering my room, I was horrified to find trimmed hair scattered in the basin and used soap still sitting in the bathroom. The bed sheets and pillows were sticky and reeked of sweat, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. To top it all off, I discovered that they were refilling used mineral water bottles instead of providing fresh ones—absolutely disgusting. This stay was a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against booking a room here until they address their serious hygiene issues.

One of the worst experience with Inhygienic ambiance too. We received room without cleaning properly, the room had a smell of Cigarette, me n my friend started sneezing, we found some ashes somewhere inside the room . The A/C was not properly working . After complaining to the manager directly and demanded for a new room only we were allocated a new room.

Hotel doesn't have restaurant. Anything served in room they collect cash on the spot. Dirty attitude is, plastic mineral water bottles used by someone else are refilled & provided in the room. Towels & bed sheets are quite old & looks dirty. No toiletries provided in the toilet except a soap. Staffs are unfriendly. Full payment is collected in advance while checking in. Check out time at 11am is quite inconvenient. Earlier this hotel was very good, prior to Ola took over. Overall experience is highly disappointed, horrible & not worth for the value.

Had a very bad experience. Receptionist named Manu used abusive language towards me . And he took away the money I had given for the room , and didn't gave the refund for cancellation. This hotel doesn't have proper manager , I asked for manager and none of them showed up . So it's so risk if you go with your family or your favourite one's. Beware of such fraud administration system .

The worest experience I had in this hotel, No buffet for breakfast, they will offer only chapati with egg curry for breakfast. No veg. No complimentary water bottle. Overall Very very Bad experience.
