Hotel O Home Royal Salem

Very bad experience.I am writing this review so that nobody has to experience this ever.Very bad and stinky rooms for the price that we give.We booked through OYO and once we reached there they said they dont have any connection with OYO so we have to pay more.They kept on asking for money simply.The rooms were stinky and not cleaned.There were smoked cigarettes lying everywhere in the room.The caretaker there has no idea about anything. The manager also was very rude.They dint even provide basic drinking water for us.I dont know how they sleep peacefully with this looted money.Family, couples don't even think about going there.

Price is not properly updated in OYO hence had to pay extra. It's listed under ₹500 + tax according to offer coupon on OYO but actual price is 1100₹ which was informed at the reception. Offers are fake and rarely reflect at the location. Room is affordable and couple friendly. It's clean with good AC and cable. Bathroom closet however is not cleaned and maintained.

Worst experience in my life. I booked via oyo app for 2days and got discount. But reception guy asked for extra money. That guy is a culture less, arrogant and rude. Bathroom was very dirty and I questioned about the same and he told that these are normal here and if you can't stay you may go. So I checked out after 2hrs of check in. When I asked for refund of one day he told that he will send money after discussing with his boss. No money was sent inspite of calling multiple times. Please don't go there. Not at all safe for ladies. Far away from main road. Such a horrible experience!!!.

Don't book rooms at this hotel via OYO as the receptionist told me that they don't accept booking via OYO and I was denied the room that I booked via OYO.

It was worst experience.Its not even a hotel. Just a building with many rooms. Totally unsafe. They literally cheated us. The pictures shown in site is not at all what you see there.There was only one guy in the reception and he was very arrogant. Room and bathroom was very dirty. There was no lock for the bathroom door.It was in a remote location. There are no autos or shops nearby. And they didnt even help us to get a vehicle.. We had to walk for 1km to get an auto. Totally unsafe!

Never go there... worst experience... 1-Oyo told us to make 200 payment in advance and when we reached there they said that you have to make full payment. 2- the staff was drunk and without shirt. 3- you would not be able to find this property easily because there is no flash board, no sign .it's just a building like a random home. 4- we had to walk out and it was 4am in the night with my office colleague (female)because they said that we don't care what you paid to Oyo although the booking was done through Oyo .

No one pick up the phone when I was trying to find the place. When I reached there at 02:30 AM, they asked me extra money else they will not let me in. At that time, what I will do, Its far from main road and no availablity of public transport or auto. So I am forced to taken the room. Oyo team also did not help me.

Very very Bad experience. I can't explain it. Annoyance, disaster, disappointment. The team oyo and the hotel people are playing third rite games. When we are searching for rooms, it showed 670 Rs. When I reached there it is changed to partial payment and I have to pay 630 more. If it was 1300 shown first I would not book this filthy hotel. Then there already these creepy hotel staff posted one poster indicating there is a software error and because of that the charges are different. I asked when u people posted this one, the dumb staff told 3 months back. And these losers did not corrected the software error. That means they are playing together. This oyo and hotels are playing together and cheating us. It's better to do some burglary or robberry. That is better than what you all are doing. I strongly recommend don't use OYO.
