I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the room boys provided exceptional service. The facilities were also well-maintained and convenient. However, I did notice that the reception staff could improve their customer service skills. Unfortunately, they often appeared unfriendly and unapproachable, which made me feel unwelcome. I believe that a warm and smiling reception can make a significant difference in creating a positive first impression. I kindly suggest that you consider providing additional training to your reception staff to enhance their customer service skills. A friendly and welcoming attitude can go a long way in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

I recently stayed at Hotel Metro Empire in Calicut, and I found both positive and negative aspects of my experience. The hotel itself is well-maintained, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and provide a good level of comfort. The overall ambiance is pleasant, and the hotel’s cleanliness standards are commendable. However, there were a couple of drawbacks that impacted my stay. First, the hotel does not have a restaurant, which I found inconvenient, as I had to make arrangements for meals elsewhere. Additionally, there is no lift access to the basement parking area. This made it difficult to access the ground floor after parking, especially if carrying luggage or traveling with elderly guests. My main concern was with the customer service. While the stay itself was nice, the staff lacked professionalism in their interactions. I observed employees gathered around the reception area, chatting, laughing, and making noise, which did not reflect a professional atmosphere. Improved customer service and a more attentive approach to guests would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but there is room for improvement in terms of facilities and customer handling

Rooms were neat. Walkable distance from railway station. Staff behaviour was not welcoming. Noise from outside were hindrance for sleeping during daytime. Not able to open or remove curtains since a school was there just ouside the room I got. Also they don't have an in-house restaurant. But complimentary breakfast (buffet) was provided. Because of all these I personally felt the rent was not justified.

Owner make the Good property, room was spacious, bathroom was clean, no room service, restaurants only serve brekfast, but the managing team/ staffs are not good at their work. further if you are booking offline then take every confirmation over whatspp/ email else rates and facility shall be changed as i too faced the same issue. i stayed here 1 night on 2nd oct 24, First they alot the room No. 3004 where AC, Telephone and Bathroom ventilation Was not working, later on complain they changed the room. Further in the new room when they bring extra bed that was also broken furher they replaced it and at last we asked for cotton blanket but instead they served kind of some long cotton towel whihc was not checked by me immediately. i think staff might be new otherwise they would not do so. Owner put their best efforts to make and decorate this hotel, but team to be motivated so the guest stay can be pleasant.

The hidden gem in town with all basic amenities provided they also have some posh interior with great service and staff. They only have to work on their breakfast menu as it is quite compact and does not matches the standard of their rooms. Also their pool is too clean and good provided they have sauna facilities also which is a star amenity they have so overall great place will definitely recommend

Had a pleasant stay experience in the property with good ambiance and friendly staff members. The property is in close proximity to the railway station. The only watch item is there are no options for lunch or dinner within the hotel but provides a decent breakfast buffet, however you have an option to place online order and there are no restrictions.. I had an overall pleasant experience.

Worst rooms and service. Booked 2 rooms. The rooms had smoke smell. The guy at front desk, Mr Binu was very rude and impolite when we requested a change of room. There are much better budget friendly hotels with good service in Calicut. Please choose that instead of this. Edit after owners response: One can note how the management has responded by blatantly blaming the customer. There were no service staffs for helping with the luggage because of which we had to do it on our own. We were harrassed by the guy at reception by asking ID for this. Anyone who wishes to book this hotel should look at other reviews which has cited the same rude behaviour and unclean rooms in this hotel.
