Hotel Dimora Kozhikode

I stayed in this hotel for four nights as whole day I was alone because my husband was having training related to his job , So he was going in morning at 8am and back at 6:30 pm in the evening. As I was alone I didn't feel that I am in a hotel. The hotel is very good. All the facilities available are nice and 24 hours service is there. Staff is very supportive and polite. Food services are excellent. Different varieties of foods are available in breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is good in taste. Excellent hotel is this.

The location was good. The room was also good. The service needs to be improved. Very tasty food and service very nice service staff very friendly and good attitude especially Janet she was very good service and very friendly TQ Janet ... The pool area has to be properly cleaned. They have mentioned no smoking zone but there were cigarette butts here and there. The pool waster was not so clean. Staff at the restaurant all are very professional and friendly.

We had ordered dinner, that was also superb. Don't forget to try their DFC, the fried chicken were really tasty. People from front desk to bell boy, staffs at the restaurant all are very professional and friendly.

Dimora is an Excellent Hotel on Thrissur Bye pass road near Cyberpark approximately 8/10 kms away from the the main city but nearer to the Airport which is 23 Kms from the Hotel. However, due to flyover work in progress it takes atleast 45/60 mts to reach the Airport. City"s Hi-lite Mall is just 2 kms away from the Hotel.|Hotel"s ambience right from the Reception, Lobby, Rooms & Restaurant was highly appealing & very neat & clean.|Room was also very good with a comfortable bed with all basic amenities viz tea / coffee maker & toileteries.|We did not opt for Dinner Buffet since 80 % dishes were South Indian. We ordered |Ala-carte - Chicken Satay & Dum Chicken Biryani. The taste was good.|Breakfast was Excellent. Masala Dosa & Medu Wada were very Good. Its Coffee was the best I had in my whole tour of Kerala.|CRA Ms. Nandhana at the Restaurant was very cooperative & enquiring & taking feedback from each & every guest who were there in the Restaurant. She brought Chocolate Tea-time cakes fresh from the kitchen for my wife. Such small gestures enhances the guest"s experience.|Since mine was a Transit stay for 1N as we had to catch the flight the next day, I selected this Hotel & I also did"nt find any Good Hotel with 4.5 star review in the main city.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Apollo Dimora, and I was thoroughly impressed with the excellent service and food. However, my experience yesterday was quite the opposite. I visited the property again, expecting the same high standard, but was disappointed to find that the food served was cold and not fresh, from the starters to the desserts. There was no buffet as promised, and even the ice cream and fruits were spoilt . Soup, and maincourse was also bad. When I raised the issue with the reception, they explained that there had been a lack of coordination with the restaurant. Unfortunately, the reception staff was not very cooperative. They provided a spa voucher, but when we inquired further, we were informed that the spa staff wouldn't be available for a week, which felt like misleading information. Additionally, the room I had been promised was not provided. I was quite dissatisfied, especially after having a positive experience just a few weeks ago. The explanation given was that the service was different due to the lower number of guests. I sincerely hope the team takes this feedback into consideration and works towards maintaining consistent service in the future.

A Disastrous Experience – Avoid at All Costs! My stay at Apollo Dimora in Calicut was nothing short of pathetic, with issues cropping up at every stage, from check-in to dining and overall service quality. Here’s a detailed account of the problems I faced: Lack of Communication: Upon check-in, I specifically asked if the hotel served a buffet lunch, and based on their response, I opted to order food via room service. Later that evening, when I returned for dinner, the restaurant staff informed me that a lunch buffet was available earlier. This glaring lack of communication between the reception and the restaurant, which are barely 10 metres apart, was appalling. Terrible Dinner Options: For dinner, the menu was extremely limited, offering barely any appealing choices. To make matters worse, when the food was served, it was evident that it was not freshly prepared. Upon complaining, the staff took the food back, which further confirmed it had been cooked earlier and stored. Unhygienic Dessert: The horror continued when we ordered ice cream that had an unidentifiable, mud-like substance in it. When we complained, they took it back without any proper explanation. The replacement, a plate of cut fruits, was equally bad—stale and far from fresh. In summary, my experience at Apollo Dimora was a complete disappointment. Poor communication, stale food, unhygienic practices, and an overall lack of professionalism make this hotel an option to avoid. For the price charged, I expected far better, and I strongly advise others to stay away unless the management takes serious steps to address these issues.

Had a wonderful time at Dimora Kozhikode. Amazing room, staffs and service. You cannot miss out on the food, it's authentic and delicious 😋. And also excellent service, all the staffs were nice and polite. They constantly checks on you and make sure everything is fine.
