Amritara A Beach Symphony, Mararikulam

Loved the outdoor seating and private dining area outside each room. The additional king bed makes it comfortable to accommodate a family of 4. The books and decor of the room are nice. The food is fresh, healthy, well presented and very tasty. The pool is peaceful. Easy access to the beach. Although it a busy part of the beach, a short walk away are quieter parts. The beach is very beautiful and waves are huge and aggressive.

We really enjoyed our time at the villa. The whole accommodation is very beautiful with a great garden and pool. It is also very close to the beach. The villa itself was very tidy and clean and welcoming. All the staff were always very friendly and helpful. They organized excursions for us and recommended certain places to go shopping because we needed some traditional clothes. The food was a dream! There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, dinner and in between meals, and you could also make arrangements with the chef. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic time. The villas are spacious, clean, private and beautifully decorated. The communal pool is great, our kids loved it. Walking distance to the beach. Private chef prepares the most delicious meals which you can enjoy on your private terrasse (kids loved the pancakes and pasta whilst we had the most amazing curry). The staff were brilliant, they looked after us so well yet are very discreet. Nothing was a bother for them. It was a perfect retreat for our family after travelling for a month. Thank you to everyone who make our stay so perfect.

Even though we arrived late(r than expected); Mr. Deepu stayed on premise to welcome us personally and guide us to our cottage. |The cottage is specious with a main space (bed, chair, fridge, tea/coffee), luggage area, separate washroom, outside shower, private pool and large front patio where meals are served. |We ordered dinner upfront, so the chef could buy all ingredients fresh. |All food was excellent, and prepared according to our requests (not spicy 😉).

Rooms are good and decently maintained. However, they can be kept cleaner with better sheets. The service is poor and needs to be improved. Service was slow and we were promised certain dishes for breakfast but weren’t given the dishes. For the amount they charge for the rooms, they should definitely provide better breakfast with more options. The dining table was extremely dirty and the table mats and runners were not changed and had ants all over it which was unfortunate. Service needs to be improved significantly to justify the price. The pool was amazing so that’s a plus.

Food was tasty but a little on the higher side in comparison to the local joints out there. Overall was a calm and lovely experience. Home cooked meal with good hospitality

The service is terrific, they treat you like a god. Unfortunately, the room was a bit run-down; a few renovations would do it good (door handle, shower floor, door alignment). You're right on the beach, but unfortunately the beach is dirty and littered with rubbish. It's typical behaviour for Indians to leave their rubbish lying around everywhere.

This is a beautiful small resort that I highly recommend to anyone who wants something more than the usual offer. There is no need to waste words on the location in a beautiful garden, the facilities themselves, which are beautiful and functional, nor on the tidiness, cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff, who are happy to listen to any, even very special, wish. The essence of this resort is that it operates on a very personal, unalienated principle. The pool adds the finishing touch, as does the proximity to the beach. Special praise goes to the resort manager, who makes sure that everything is really possible, and of course the chef, who is excellent and listens to every wish, this was especially important for our children. The food is excellent. In short, our family enjoyed the last few days of India in a little paradise.
