Marayoor Tourist home

Everyone at MTH were very friendly. The rooms were large and clean. We wanted an extra room and spoke to Mr. Indrajit over phone, he assured us an extra room on our arrival, but he couldnt meet his words. We were asked to adjust for a night and on the second day though we were promised a room, the person in charge said its difficult as they had some 10 families who came in that day. When we took up the issue with the manager and said we booked through clear trip, the person came in person and arranged a room for us. He had to vacate people in one room and give it to us. We were overwhelmed with this and would definitely recommend people to stay. ||Call up the mobile phone number directly in case you have any special requirement. They are very courteous. You have a waterfall just at a stone throw away distance. And just opposite to MTH is the Sandal forest. We were able to see Bisons en route to Munnar. ||There is no hot water in the room and we had to get it from the terrace, there are a couple of solar heaters. There is a hotel, but needs prior order. There are many places to see in and around Marayoor which would take a day. ||

If you're looking for a small, genuine, convenient place with beautiful location and the best service possible you should definitely stay here.||||Me and my friends stayed at Marayoor tourist home for one week in April 2015 and we couldn't have found a better place! It was just perfect for us.||||The staff were great and incredibly helpful in every way. All of the staff were very friendly and really contributed to making our vacation even more enjoyable and memorable.

One of the few places in Marayoor which is very decent, clean and away from all the traffic and people!!!||The home stay is maintained pristine with facility to cook. Though we were a couple, we got a double bedroom home stay on the ground floor.||The only drawback here is the place is a little lonely and gets really dark (there are no street lights). Feels a bit scary initially but it was safe :)||Pointers:|No food will be served. You need to cook in the home stay or rely on restaurants within the Marayoor village. However, we didn't find any decent veg restaurants around.|The place is well within the village and is a little lonely, so if you are paranoid about such places, think before you book. If you are uncomfortable with the location of the home stay, you can check out the rooms provided (rooms are on the main road)|

The stay we made in Marayoor Tourist Home with our family members was a memorable one,as it was enjoyed by all of us. Right from the beginning of the stay till we made a departure we were enthralled by the courteous reception and the good hospitality throughout our stay.||||We had a feeling at home because of the good manners and the well behaved attitude of the entire staff. Especially I should make a special mention about the captain of the hospitality team Mr.Indrajith, Manager (Ph:09496455055) who has taken all the effort & individual care to make our stay a pleasant one. Rooms are well maintained in a spic & span manner with hot water facility. Restaurant is available with vehicle parking space.||||For your information Marayoor tourist home has two properties one is marayoor tourist home & the other one is valley view resort. Marayoor tourist home is near to the heart of the marayoor town on the munnar highway & Valley view resort is one kilometer from bus stand , located in a serene atmosphere amidst sugarcane field with a hill view which depicts a rare view with sylvan surroundings, I suggest someone who intend to take a break from their daily chores and willing to blend with nature pick valley view resort and enjoy. ||-Nivin

Booked 4 rooms online for 2 nights. Did not get good rooms on day1.||I had paid extra for additional bed in two rooms. We reached late by around 7:30 @ night and rooms that we got were not good. we got 2 rooms with indian type commode and 2 with European style. They could not arrange for extra bed, instead they gave another room. On day 2, we got 2 good rooms.||No hot water in the room. But they arranged for hot water in the morning( boiled water).||Breakfast available, but expensive. 40 Rs for idli/sambar. Lunch is supposed to be good. We did not take lunch, so I cannot comment on that.||Manager, Ramakrishnan is a very friendly person.||||This place is very near to Marayoor Town (300 m)||Perol Bunk (750 m)||SBI ATM (500 m)||Parking available for 8 cars.

Good hotel. With family. Budget hotel. Nice yummy lunch. Only BSNL has mobile range here, that too only 2G services. Very cordial staff, and happy and pleasing owner. Booked beforehand. Came after long journey from thodupuzha. It is forest on one side. One room with two beds costs Rs500 during july first week. Visited kanthalloor from here.

This is a small convenient place with beautifull view. I stayed here with my friends for three day. The romms were clean and tidy. There were mountains behind and farms in front which was awsome. Had a wonder full stay Here!!

we reached marayoor searching the tiger. We wanted to stay near the chinnar nation park, and actually this allowed us to start our tour the next early morning. Of course we didn't manage too see a tiger but we saw lot of wild elephants just few meters aways.||Unfortunately the location was really too basic for us. Even if in a beautiful surrounding (in the middle of a sugar cane plantation) we found almost no hot water, no mosquito net, straw mattress and pillows with some bugs inside. No internet connection and actually the mobile could barely take the line. We felt like lost in the middle of nowhere||Furthermore the host tried every time to sell us tours or accomodation with first price being 4 or 5 times the already higher touristic price.||In marayoor there are no restaurant, no lights apart from the "main" road and it take 2 hours from munnar, so consider visiting this area if you are not an indian traveler
