OYO Hotel Merimaid

Stayed with family for one night. Really Its very nice hotel and pleasing behavior of staff is absolutely encouraging. Location of hotel is in Munnar town. Room is very vast and well maintained. Bathrooms were neat and modern. Restaurant is there and food is tasty. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Value for money.

Stay with family for two days.Awesome hotel clean rooms best service good food.Value for money. A staff was cool and helping. Location of hotel is in munnar town. But service and amenities are great. Very nice breakfast and food. Rooms were great. Overall good

The hotel is situated at the heart of the town and has ample parking space. Finding the hotel is a bit of a task as its not easily visible from the road. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The two bed room can easily accommodate 3 or 4 comfortably; its that big. The building seems to be of British construction, this increases the visual appeal of the rooms. Its actually makes you feel as if you are staying in a really expensive room even though it is actually a budget friendly room. The staff on-site were really helpful and friendly. The restaurant there is also good despite the limited menu and the delay in getting the food ordered. So if you are on a hurry, skip the meals from here.

We, 2 friends went ther on october, 2013. The room is big and good enough to stay and the cost was not high. It was a nice stay within budget. The hotel didn't serve food then. The resturant was not too far, 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The hotel staffs were good. It was a nice experience as we stayed there for three days.

We booked our stay for 2 days 3 nights through our travel agent. And we were booked to this hotel. All our expectations were dropped when we entered to the room. The room is spacious but filthy. The carpet was dirty and there was foul smell in the room. Not a minute one could sit in the room. The bathroom was also very dirty and unhygienic. There were no proper light also. The sheets and towels provided were not clean. The food provided was infact good. We shifted to another hotel the next day itself. It was such a horrible experience. The room and ambience was not worth the money. We really had a very bad experience.

This hotel is located at the heart of munnar. You have access to city commute and hence it's easy to roam around to multiple attraction. Apart from that the staffs are welcoming. It's a renovated old building and hence it has its own downsides . But to an average family traveller this would be a decent experience within budget. For a quick one day stay this would be a nobrainer. however if you are looking for a 2-3 day outing i wouldn't suggest this especially for family.

I booked a holiday package through Greenline travels for 4-5 days. First place to visit was Munnar where we have been given accommodation in Mermaid Hotel. Hotel was good, clean and present in a nice location. Easily accessible to the market and restaurant. Would definitely recommend to others.

This hotel located at Munnar Town. About 2 days ago i stayed here with my friends. Rooms & bathrooms are Spacious and clean. Good atmosphere.They dont have restaurant.But thattukadas, hotels are walking distance from Hotel.Mermaid was quite good looking . Enjoyable.
