OYO 15454 NG Regency

An ok budget stay. Great location for transport activities around munnar. Rooms would be good if they weren’t left to go mouldy. It was on the walls and also in the pillows. Also people may talk very loudly outside your room until 12 at night and start again at 5am!

As the name say it's a budget hotel. But it was pricier for budget hotel. We got it for 2000. Toilets should have been cleaner. Parking is bit of a problem for sedan and above especially during rainy days as there is big slippery slop which is very narrow. Also the way towards the hotel is too narrow that your car can't even give side to a scooter. Other than that staffs are helpful. Rooms are clean and airy, and have good quality blankets. Hot water is available throughout.

This hotel is the extremely bad. The rooms are very small. The blanket and linen were stinking. The manager and staff misbehaved. I had a booking for 3 days but when I wanted to cancel the booking for next two days seeing the condition of the rooms, I was not allowed. I had to call the police as these are rowdies. OYO rooms through whom I booked the hotel did not help at all. I kept calling them since 10:00pm in the night till morning 9:00AM. I even escalated the matter to corporate office but they neither provided alternate hotel nor cancelled the booking

We had booked two rooms for 2 days in the last week of April, 2017. It was a horrible experience. There was not hot water in the bathrooms and cold water also was not available in one of the bathrooms. One of the toilet didn't have water spray gun. Rooms were looking very old. Beds were also not good and one of the bed had burned blanket. In one of the rooms adjacent to our room, there were 5 people staying in the same room and they were smoking in their rooms so much that smoke was everywhere. We didn't sleep properly because those guys knocked on our doors 3 times in the night (in the confusion about room number). Caretaker guys of the hotel were rude and unresponsive. They had not resolved any one the problem and they didn't say 'sorry' ever. We were staying at 3 floor and reception counter was at ground floor, phone service from our room to the reception counter was not working, so we had to go to ground floor to report any query/complain. It was very painful stay for us in NG Regency.

The staffs are very kind and friendly especially Kartik. Even they will help you arrange the sight seeing for Munnar. The rooms are very clean and the service is very good. Highly recommended.

NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. Cannot get even basic amenities like water, electricity, cleanliness. Very poor attitude of owner. Beds are very dirty , bad smell, poor maintanence, No hot water ( even no water available in bath rooms ). no power back up......... Not safe. YOU MUST CHECK ALL THESE POINTS BEFORE CHECK-IN. NO VALUE FOR MONEY.

Impressed by the fact OYO shifted our rooms from a different hotel to this when we had issues in late night travel.. we only had to pay 300₹ extra for 2 rooms that was difference in hotel room rates. Points for helpful customer care and convenience.

Nice place to stay as very near to bus stand for enjoying night shopping/transport. Receptionist (Mani) is very helpful and energetic person. Any requests r fulfilled in seconds. Lovely rooms for a cheap price . We have to negotiate for price. Love you Ng recidency ..
