Wayanad Dream Nest

A nice homely stay near to Muthanga. Very friendly people at the stay. Breakfast was inclusive while the booking so we had a delicious Kerala style breakfast, Appam and Chana curry. The site is situated in between the paddy field and it's really beautiful at morning. The only problem we found was lack of ventilation in the bathroom which sometime made a bad odour. Otherwise the rating would have added up with an extra star.

A very nice and calm location just next to Muthanga wildlife Sanctuary. Rooms were very spacious, well maintained. All the staff was very co-operative and always smiling. Served good food. Owner Mr. Biju is very nice and friendly person. Recommend this homestay if you bored of resorts and hotels and want to have a very homely stay with home cooked food.

We stayed in deramnest for 3 nights. Mr. Biju and his team of staff are excellent. We had a wonderful experience. They make you feel at home. The food is excellent. Mr. Shiju who took us on sight seeing was excellent and he knows the place well and plans as per the need of the guest. Overall we had a wonderful and relaxing time in the dreamnest.

Its nice place spend weekend ,we 10 people spend 2 days there .the resort has big rooms according to the price they are taking is less . compared to price and room size ratio its worth .The room are clean and well maintained .if you want campfire the hotel guy will arrange everything in fine level luckely they will not charge nothing for us to setting the campfire ,but they told us it will cost 500rs. Another thing about the resort is it have good well maintained gurden and out door cafe area .hotel staff are friendly they will allow to take kitchen area everthing is there gas, refrigerator

It was good but owner has to check and verify each and every room whether it is ready to stay or not. When reached washroom was dirty but after that they changed the room and it was nice. For everything we need to ask like soap ,hand-wash tissue paper. But at last everything was provided and it was good. Location was loveable also.

I must start with appreciation note towards the guy who served us day and night, kept running fulfilling wishes with smiling on face. Had same name with me, so another point!||||Breakfast and dinner was really tasty and had variety, you need to like Kerala cuisine for that though. I also appreciate staff's flexibility in heating up the food as and when asked if you get late in using it.||||Property is located far from Sulthan Bathery town and hence is really peaceful and quite, you will love the serenity for that matter. For the money it charges, It could have few basic amenities like geysers in room, better televisions than 14 inch portables (we did not miss it much though), more blankets, decent extra beds for Kids for which they charge extra. ||||And yes, they charge you extra for camp fire!||||So, all in all, few discomforts specially since we were with children ... otherwise worth a stay!

We traveled as 2 families and stayed in Wayanad Dreamnest for 3 days. The property was newly built at that time and managed very well even when full with guests. Room size is excellent and staff are very prompt and friendly. Food served is really tasty. This is not a luxury resort with spectacular views of valley, facilities, etc but what you get in the price is much more. It is near to Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, surrounded by paddy fields. Safari was arranged by resort. Safe choice and would like to return to this next time.

Best homestay near Bandipur forest. Offers high quality home food through out your stay. Except edakkal caves, all tourist spots are nearly 40kms away from this location. If you are a foodie and travel only shorter distance in a day...go for this homestay without any second thoughts.
