NillThe service at Inda Hotel has been extremely disappointing. I had made a cancellation on my booking, and they assured me that the refund would be processed within 14 working days. However, it has been much longer, and despite my repeated follow-ups with their team, I have received no clear or satisfactory response. The customer service representatives are unprofessional, often providing vague answers and displaying a complete lack of accountability. To make matters worse, the team is rude and dismissive when contacted over the phone, showing no regard for basic courtesy or customer satisfaction. This has been the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise against booking with them if you expect even a minimum level of professionalism and reliability.

NillPeaceful place with nice cottages, great for a getaway. Overall I had a nice experience, but they can improve the service. The rooms are upwards of 5k per night, even then the reception asks you to go to common area to refill drinking water.

NillI want to share my recent experience at this hotel where my family and I stayed. The hotel is located in a great spot, fairly close to a cliff, which we thought would be perfect. We booked 3 deluxe AC double rooms based on the stunning pictures and positive reviews we saw online. However, things took a turn once we arrived. We were 15 minutes early, and the rooms weren’t ready, which wasn’t a big deal at first. But when we finally got into our rooms, we were shocked. The reality was far from what we saw in the photos. The cleanliness was terrible—there were bugs, an uncleaned premises, and a foul smell that lingered throughout the rooms. We brought the issue to the receptionist, who was helpful and suggested moving us to another property they owned. With no better option and being with family, we agreed to try the new location. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve much. The staff seemed indifferent to the amenities they promised. There were not enough bath towels, the same bad smell, uncleaned glasses, and a general lack of upkeep. Even the drinking water had a strange odor. We paid over 3000 rupees per room, but in all honesty, the experience felt like it was worth no more than 1000.

NillVisited this property in August 2024. Stayed in an AC cottage for 4 nights. The place oozes character and has a cozy offbeat vibe to it. Although the pathways and the rooms from the outside look abandoned, the place is surprisingly well maintained on the inside with a very cozy vibe. Despite the rooms not having a sea view, the cliffs were very accessible and were just a couple minutes away by walk. Aji, the hotel manager required a special mention as he was extremely friendly, professional and proactive with every request. He helped us plan out our vacation and arranged for timely cab services. The cafe also served really yummy continental food, with the only gripe being that the continental food (being truly authentic) gets very boring and repetitive. The option for an alternative cuisine would round out the experience perfectly. Overall, loved the place and would recommend.

NillMy review is based solely on my three-day stay at this place. First and foremost, I believe it’s inaccurate to label it as a hotel. It’s more of an upscale homestay, akin to a “build-as-you-go” concept that lacks the professional touch of a designer. The hotel exudes an effortless rustic charm, but many aspects of the rooms are in a state of disrepair. For instance, the clay tiles on our ceiling eventually came crashing down on us at 4:30 AM while we were asleep. The only staff member on the entire property was the watchman, who informed us that he would assist the next morning when the receptionist or manager arrived. My injury and my three-year-old’s were moderately serious, and his response was utterly lacking in compassion. It could have been fatal, and I’m grateful that it only resulted in a few bruises for both of us. Post the ordeal, the hotel waived my room fee, but I was still charged for the food. Now, I won’t recommend this place as a hotel, but I would suggest it as a homestay. Pros: - Location: Very close to the cliff - Tickety Boo Restaurant: I absolutely loved this charming hole-in-the-wall restaurant within Inda’s property. It opened as early as 6 AM and served delicious coffee, tea, and other beverages. What sets this place apart is that it’s run by a group of individuals with special needs. - Inda Cafe: The food here is good. Cons: - Nighttime staff unpreparedness: The watchman was the only person on duty, and he failed to handle the situation effectively. He should have been more knowledgeable about handling various scenarios or trained to respond to emergencies. What if a fire broke out? Would he wait until the next morning to inform his superiors? - Inaccessible reception: The receptionist never answered our calls. - Lack of room service: This is why I prefer to call it a homestay. - While I support sustainability, having only one bottle of water in the room that you need to refill yourself isn’t helpful. They could simply provide two glass bottles and reduce the number of visits to the water station. - I did expect a hair dryer and a kettle in the room as it was mentioned in the room amenities when I booked on MMT. But neither of it was available. I requested a kettle and received it on the second day of my stay. - The presence of worms, leeches, and snails in the room and bathroom made it uncomfortable, especially for my child. - The property needs better maintenance. Mold-infested walls, moss on the window glass, and broken bathroom doors are unacceptable issues that cannot be ignored. - We experienced a power outage for over 1.5 hours, and the manager repeatedly assured us that it would be restored soon. While this is not what you expect from a hotel, it can be tolerated as a temporary inconvenience in a homestay setting. The clay tiles from the ceiling that fell on me were clearly not intended to be there. They were flooring tiles or wall cladding tiles, indicating a poor choice of material and application process. I do this for a living so I know that those clay tiles weren't the right material for the ceiling. From the room I stayed in and the adjoining room, it was evident that this wasn’t the first time the tiles had fallen from the ceiling. The rectification work began the day after the tiles fell on me, suggesting that they waited for something life-threatening to occur before taking action. Overall, my stay with this homestay was not very pleasant for my family.

NillInda hotel is great. It is very close to north cliff and walkable to beach. Hotel staff and manager is very supportive. Room is good. I intially I felt like staying in a jungle but very good experience. One area I need improvements is adding a phone to call reception or dinning area will be good...

NillI recently had the pleasure of staying at INDA hotel, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel's commitment to being nature-friendly and aesthetically pleasing is evident in every aspect of its design and operations. The surroundings were serene and beautiful, making it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, going out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The food was also delicious, with a wide range of options to suit every taste. However, there were a couple of areas for improvement. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have a generator backup, which caused some inconvenience during power outages. Additionally, the approach road to the hotel was in poor condition, making it a bit of a challenge to reach. Overall, I would highly recommend INDA hotel for its natural beauty, excellent service, and tasty food. With a few improvements to its infrastructure, it has the potential to be a truly exceptional destination.
