Grand Residency Varkala

We recently spent around 15 days at the Grand Residency Hotel in Varkala, Kerala, and our stay was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our stay was perfect, and the rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The food was outstanding, with a variety of delicious dishes that highlighted the flavors of Kerala. Every meal felt like a treat, thanks to the talented kitchen staff. Special mention goes to Mr. Faasil, the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive. He took the time to ensure all our needs were met and offered great local tips that truly enriched our experience in Varkala. His hospitality and support made our stay even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and look forward to visiting again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fantastic, welcoming place in Varkala.

Very comfortable stay - came for a a wedding. Rooms were quite clean, with a good show shower and AC. The staff were always very helpful especially with booking taxis and we had no language challenges. Breakfast was included.

I booked based on the reviews. Very bad experience. Worst food. Away from all tourist locations. No view. Pathetic stay. Poor service. We also have our own resorts in tamilnadu. Nobody offers such a bad service. Planned for 3 days stay. Just spend a day and shifted.

I recently visited Varkala and stayed at Grand Residency. I had an excellent stay and good service at an affordable price. The receptionist helped in arranging me a cab. The cab driver Amesh was extremely helpful and polite. On the whole, I liked the service at Grand Residency.

A place which exceeded all our expectations. The rooms and service were excellent. We were a group of four and got a room with two bedrooms and the amenities were also awesome. The price was very affordable and staff are friendly. You will get a homely feel here. The hotel is also nearby Varkala Cliff. There is a plenty of parking space also available here.

I loved the place. Extremely great value for money. We got an entire flat with two rooms for just 4000. Since the place was newly built, rooms were also great. The rooms were not properly cleaned though and there were spiders under the bed. Also, the wifi did not work properly. Overall, a great place to stay if you come here.

We have booked this property throught booking.com for new year's trip. First, they have listed their property as free cancellation, no prepayment on the the website but still have called multiple times for advance payment. We understand that it's busy time of the year and we are okay to pay 1 night charges as pre payment but the lady on the call kept saying that she will not hold rooms for us. Our cancellation is also mentioned as till day before the booking but she kept insisting that I will refund only if the cancellation is a week before. We don't plan to cancel and were looking forward to stay but now it's clear that what kind of service they will provide at the property if they cannot be even civil on the call. This kind of attitude is pathetic and we no longer would be staying in this property just because they are already being rude before even checking in.
