Shamak Homestay, Varkala

I had a great time staying at this property. Near to the beach and decent budget. Washroom was very clean. Room was cozy and comfortable. The handmade paintings were there on all the walls. Host is very friendly and the they provided the nice breakfast. Hand made art & decor everywhere made this property look very beautiful. I definitely recommend this property if you are visiting Varkala for a quiet and relaxed stay.

Their customer service is outstanding – they really listen to your needs and ensure everything is taken care of promptly and with genuine kindness. Had a great experience staying at Shamak's. The property is well maintained and uniquely designed and decorated. Rooms and washrooms were very clean, also they provide towels and toiletries in a budget friendly stay. The host is very friendly and makes the best coffee. He has also arranged some card games and surfing board. Overall good experience.

Rooms was very neat and clean, we feel like we are in our bedroom, very calm and comfortable stay. Host was also very helpful, we visited the state first time, totally unplanned, no idea about location to visit, activity to do all that but the host helped us and guide us and make our trip memorable. Also all the beaches are near by to this homestay. I will personally recommend this place for stay.
