Hotel Sahara Inn

We had dinner at this place on 27th December 2022. We had to go here since almost all other restaurants were crowded. When we entered the restaurant we realized that the lady at the reception is not at all supportive. She was keeping a frowning face and was not at all helping us with dining vailability for 8 people. After 10 minutes we were guided to the family room and we found it extremely dirty. We chose to sit in the outside cabin itself. After 40 minutes of waiting our dinner was served. We found the food quality very poor and discarded most of the food. When we mentioned the same to them, they didn't give any attention. The lady at the reception was kind of " just pay and go". Next day morning most of us got food poisoned. I observed that they are having rooms as well. Don't know how people are feeling it in case of stay. But my humble advice to all of you is that please don't eat from here. Your stomach will get infected for sure. I am planning to file a complaint to Vythiri police and FSSAI on this.

Nice Ambiance, food was ok, though we visited within their combo breakfast, but we have been told combo breakfast is not available.

Very bad food and service. Ordered a beef biriyani, and the beef was like rubber pieces. We asked the waiter to make the beef eatable, but his attitude was very bad. We gave the beef back to the kitchen, and it came back just like it was, undercooked. The waiter even tried to argue with us.

I haven't stayed here, but I had a dinner last night 08/01/2023. It was the worst one, which caused food poison to me and my wife. We had a treatment nearby hospital, so please be cautious while eating food from this hotel.

We have stayed in dormantory. For each person they charged 250 rupees. The rooms is satisfactory. The person is polite and good. But the room facilities may be improved. And for the dormantory some bathrooms are there . In that bathrooms lack of locks. When you are taking dormantory need to struggle somewhat. But I may not know about the room facilities.

I went to this place as somebody suggested but it was a waste of money. The food, the hospitality is worst among wherever i have eaten in Wayanad. The person taking order does not seem to have patience. I have the habit of exploring the menu before ordering but this person is not ready to speak. It so happened that i ate food not of my choice but of his rather.||||Hospitality is the least here.

We had ordered dinner one day from Sahara Inn during our stay @ Vythiri Meadows. Food was delivered on time, well packed and tasty, Fortunately, all the dishes were made of sunflower oil and not the traditional coconut oil. Before placing the order we inquired the oil part tho and was confirmed they will use sunflower oil. We feared we over ordered but swept it clean off :)||||Dined in for lunch the following day and was even better. We kept ordering one after the other and all of the dishes were tasty. Considering i was of the notion we would only get food with a twist of coconut flavor :). Service was good, all the orders were served quickly with no much waiting.

The Hotel is good and pocket friendly. But we couldn't find hot water for bathing. But for the price, parking facility, accessibility to the nearest town and shops and to the neatness I give 3 star rating.
