Hotel Virasat

We booked here through 'OYO Rooms - Railway Station 2' during a busy holiday weekend. This is walk-able distance from the Gwalior Railway Station - off Platform 4 Exit. This is right beside the Government Execise Office.||||Finding the hotel is a bit difficult as it has a very small board on the road and is behind the main buildings on the street. This is a budget hotel, good enough to sleep after visiting the tourist spots. Do not expect anything more.||||The hotel owner who mans the reception is a friendly person and gave us directions to the tourist spots. Gwalior pretty much shuts down by 6-7PM and after that you are pretty much locked to your rooms or go to the DT Mall to watch a movie. :-)

During Gwalior visit, I have plan for stay go two days so I have booked room in this hotel from OYO. Rate was not much higher. Room was spacious and cleaned. Very near to railway station is plus point. Cleaning need to improve near by hotel area.

Very near to Gwalior Railway station. Next to Platform number 4. Room are not spacious. Room service is also good. Some of the rooms can also be booked through OYO and rate is also less. Area surrounding hotel is not so clean,

The only plus point to this hotel is the proximity to railway station. Its better to book through online portals rather than direct booking since the price variance is huge. Rooms are just average and food is just ok. Recommended only for night transits.

A recent addition to cuisine scene at Gwalior . Great Bhuna Ghosht . Great service and good food . Caution for steep stairs and cramped sitting . The place suits locals & is suitable for lunch . No parking available . BonAppetite

When we check in first it is unbale to find, Uncleand Washrooms, Worst Breakfast, Tasteless, Rooms are so tiny and in foul odor.|Towels were dirty, Water Management in Toilets are not good, When you open tap you will get a slower water flow, Showers were not working because of low flow of water.|When I complained they gave me another room that was also similar in problems.|Never Ever Book It.
