Hotel Motherland

Terrible experience. The owner was arrogant, pushy, and downright rude. Instead of making guests feel welcome, he mocked people and acted like he was doing us a favor just for staying there. On top of that, prices and charges felt like a rip-off. I left feeling disrespected and robbed. Never again.

Positive attributes included pristine, high-standard bathrooms with readily accessible hot water, and impeccably clean guest rooms; staff performance was also exemplary. However, several areas require attention: the in-room television was inoperable (while attributed to a technical malfunction, its functionality in other areas suggests a potential cost-cutting measure), complimentary towels require follow-up, and an unexpected charge was applied for complimentary bottled water. Addressing these minor deficiencies would substantially improve guest satisfaction.

The service was really appreciated. Prompt service and courteous staff since we landed at night was awake and ready to help. Bathrooms were clean with toiletries provided which was appreciated as well.
