SYNA Heritage Hotel - A Heritage Hotel in Khajuraho

This is an architecturally beautiful hotel that has been neglected for too many years. The potential of the hotel is amazing. The management is neglecting the maintenance and renovation of this hotel, and that's a shame. Unless you are in the top rooms. Prepare yourself to take a shower in less than a minute. The hot water tank is extremely inadequate. The food in the kitchen is pretty sad after traveling for almost a month in India. This is pretty much the worst food that I had in any hotel that I've stayed. But the service was amazing. That's the one positive thing. about the place, and of course, the location is very close to amazing old temples.

The Syna is a heritage hotel in Khajuraho with beautiful landscaped greenery, garden and walk space, all parts of the property aesthetically kept up and clean. Rooms were comfortable and clean though not very large. The hotel staff are very professional and courteous. The restaurant served us breakfast for the pre-order, (since they were not yet full on their bookings), but really delicious and well served. Its totally worth opting for Syna while you are in Khajuraho.

We stayed at Syna Heritage Resort between 15th to 17th Aug-2024, and it was a delightful experience! The resort impressed us with its courteous staff, especially those in the restaurant, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Additionally, the resort maintained excellent cleanliness throughout, making our visit both comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend Syna Heritage Resort for a memorable and well-cared-for getaway!

Excellent location and ambience. Rooms could be a bit bigger: with the bed in place we have no place to be comfortable. Breakfast was a la carte on the 1 st day and buffet on the second. Mr Chourasia was an excellent food manager. A sore point was that the TV in the room was non functional and when we managed to get it going the hotel had not paid the fees to the channel. Embarrassing.

The super deluxe rooms are good and clean, but their food is not good. There is no variety. The manpower is so less. We have to keep waiting for the food to arrive and even the people have no courtesy to speak. Property has to take care of the restaurant, which is really not working. If the food is not good. Then things are not going to fall in place over the time. Please look into your restaurant service and food . For dinner, it took us 25 minutes to get the soup served very very poor service. Please work on it. It’s a humble request to the order. Otherwise, you’re going to lose clients. No 210

Property is great. Service is great. Staff is very cooperative. Negatives Swimming pool was not clean. They don't have any working caller id in room for reception or any other services we have to walk down for orders and requirements. They don't have proper lights around property like if I'm paying for heritage property I'll love to walk around it so I can enjoy my vacation time with fam and friends. Overall it's a 5 star property but this push me to star it 4.

We wanted to book a nice place for our stay in Khajuraho. We were captured by SYNA, and although the room was fine the facilities were not at all for a 5 star hotel lacking maintenance. The pool was dirty, the place lacked facilities like gym or spa. WiFi and Electricity were not stable being cut often, something you do not expect. The TV was just there as a decoration but no channel could be seen or anything being reproduced on it in any manner. Besides this, the place is infested with mosquitos and I even saw a rat running through it. It is such a shame that a place with such a high potential is not taken care of and let to rotten.

If you're considering booking Syna Heritage primarily for its pool facility and the overall ambience, I feel compelled to share my recent experience, which was quite disappointing. As someone who values cleanliness and hygiene, I was looking forward to enjoying the pool during my stay. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to dismay when I discovered the state of the pool. Upon entering the water, I noticed several dead organisms and visible algae floating around. This was not only unappealing but also raised concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the swimming environment. I expected a well-maintained facility, especially given the emphasis on luxury and relaxation that Syna Heritage promotes. However, what I encountered was far from satisfactory. When I brought this issue to the attention of the reception staff, I was met with an unsatisfactory response. They explained that the algae had accumulated because the pool had not been cleaned for just one day. This explanation felt inadequate and dismissive, particularly when it was clear that the pool had not been properly maintained for a longer period. A one-day lapse should not result in such a noticeable decline in cleanliness, especially in a facility that markets itself as a premium destination. In conclusion, if you're drawn to Syna Heritage for its pool and relaxing atmosphere, I urge you to reconsider. The lack of regular maintenance and the unsatisfactory responses from staff left me feeling disillusioned. While the ambience of the property may be appealing, cleanliness is paramount, and in this case, it fell short of expectations. I hope that management takes these concerns seriously for the sake of future guests.
