Hotel Raj Palace Maheshwar

I and my wife stayed at this hotel recently. Hotel is located inside the fort, that has easy access to the Narmada ghat, Ahilyabhai palace and temples around. River view room was great and amazing. Mr.Sagar, the owner was a very polite and helpful person who guided us for sightseeing and shopping Maheshwar sarees. When my wife suddenly fell sick, he took great care of us and that has to be appreciated. He recommended home made food from a Punjabi family outlet, which was fresh, tasty and served to our room. Vehicle parking and driver accommodation were also provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Raj Palace and would love to visit again.

Excellent stay with the best views possible. I was very happy waking up with the views of the temple and the Narmada river. I got a room in the first floor at the end of the corridor and I couldn't be more happy 😁 |The room was very clean, with a good bed and shower too.|The staff were lovely, and the owner was very kind explaining things about the local temple and the story behind it. Besides, he set up the tv for me to watch movies in English and to make my stay as comfortable as possible.|I'll come back for sure 😊

Only view is good, inside nothing 😜. TV is not working, Solily water for bath which is very cold. No hot water available. Rooms are not clean.

A little slope to reach there. The place is close to the ghaat, fort and temples. They dont have food in the hotel but there are tapris nearby. For dinner, you need to walk around. Also, the city sleeps early, so all the places close early, so plan accordingly.

Amazing experience living at this Lil gem in Maheshwar. Stayed here for 2 night with my wife in a room with balcony. Stunning views from the balcony overlooking the temples and river. Location is perfect, everything is within 2-3 mins ... Ghat, restaurants, fort, shopping etc. Service is rop notch. Host Sagar was super humble. He even gave us his bike to visit Sahastradhara and Dutt mandir (6km) . I'd definitely stay here again when I visit Maheshwar.

My experience was disappointing. The room was dark even during the day, but the management refused a fair solution. The hotel lacked a lift, and the staff behaved rudely, making us go up and down instead of addressing the issue. They gave us only two choices—pay full price for an upgrade or take a refund and find another hotel. Since we arrived at 3:45 PM, we had no time to search for alternatives, making it feel like they took advantage of our situation.

Perfect stay in Maheshwar. Was backpacking Madhya Pradesh and stayed here for a night. It was just few meters away from Ghat and actually it is in fort premises. Humble people and great hospitality.
