Hotel Shyam Ji

Not recommend for families but it's good for an economical stay in Hoshangabad. The rooms are medium-sized but cosy. Bedsheets are recommended to change when you check-in. There is no in-house restaurant which makes it compulsory to bring or eat the food from the market. The hotel is nearby to the Halwai chowk where you will find lot of restaurants and shops to eat. Overall, the hotel is recommended for a short work related stay.

Hotel Shyam ji is a lesser known but offers great budget accommodation to its travellers. The pace is next to a mini-vegetable market near Halvai Chowk, the prominent place for sweetmeat shops There are several convenient stores nearby. The air-conditioning in rooms is effective. The rooms are well-lit and have direct sunlight. The upholstery and room layout suits one pocket. In order to earn a five-star, it needs an elevator (lift), a good maintenance of common areas and rooms (falling paint of the walls, unswept balconies) and high quality TV sets.

They don't use any chemicals or soap to wash the bathroom or floors to disinfect. Very unhygienic. There is no geyser or hot water available. Blanket is filled with dust when oepned. Rooms are stuffy.

Pathetic.. I had done online booking.. But when reached.. I was told.. No rooms.. And after arguments.. They gave a very unclean room with no mugs.. Dirty bedsheets.. The staff is not accepting his mistake..

Room's are good. Little far from railway station means it takes 10 minutes by walk.

It was awesome place.. Well environment.. Well service.. In short it was best place for stay in hosangabad
