The Shankara View

Rooms are very good and walking distance from the temple. Only good food is not available in near by place and hotel is also not having a restaurant. Otherwise stay was good and nice cleanly room. Newly build property.

The staff were very helpful and polite, and the manager went above and beyond by arranging a wheelchair for my mother for her visit to the temple. This level of care and attention made our stay comfortable and memorable. In terms of comfort and convenience, the hotel is newly constructed, ensuring modern amenities and a fresh ambiance. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable. The location is ideal, providing easy access to the temple. The hotel also maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Overall, The Shankara View is a must-stay hotel offering the best experience in town. My stay was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Clean room and washroom. Rooms are very small sized. I had booked 2 double bed room even that was also very small. Location is great. Parking can be an issue. Kindly call hotel before you reach and ask them where to park. Also request them to come to your parking location so that they can help you with your luggage. They did not inform upfront about any of these things even after calling them multiple times. In the end when we reached omkareshwar it was chaotic as to where to park, where is hotel etc. No one came to pick the luggage as well.

Very bad experience. Serving in the gods name they don’t have basic human decency. I had a booking of 15 people with them which I had confirmed a month back and also given the advance. But due to the sad demise of my Nani I have to cancel the plan and me and the family can no longer visit. When I informed this and asked for a refund they refused. Very bad experience in such a spiritual place where people can be so indifferent to someone’s tough times and still think of small profits in these situations.
