Best option in a low budget, all well equipped hotel, just make the front look a bit better. We spoke to the owner on this subject and he told us that his hotel and this entire area is coming under the master project of Mahalak Mandir, hence they cannot develop it because they have got permission from the government for only 10 rooms and the first floor, out of which 5 rooms have booking condition, rest are still to be made. Even after having facilities like a hotel, one has to look for home stay, hence there is less staff, there is customer self service, offline rooms are not given here because both the staff and the owner here do not waste their valuable time in showing the rooms and compromising the price. It is said that the room price which is mentioned online, here also the customers have to pay that much only. Because of this hotel policy, this hotel is very clean and well maintained, at 9 o'clock the cleaners come to clean the rooms and toilets. They do not have rooms for alcoholics, non vegetarians and unmarried couples. They have rooms only for families and under the new policy, these days they are not taking bookings for bulk groups because the room capacity has been fixed.

My experience with hotel and their members is wonderful. They treat me as their family member especially when I was on my solo trip. I visited the hotel twice in a year. So yes, it was a great experience of mine.

I want to share my experience at Mahakal Dwar Hotel. I came with my family for Mahakal Darshan and we stayed here for 1 day and I must say I just loved it. I really appreciate there work, they are very much cooperative, helpful and there hospitality is just awesome. We got 2 superior rooms and both are just wonderful. Rooms are well maintained, clean and spacious. The environment and location is also nice. If I talk about the food it was above my expectation level. The food was very tasty and service of all staff was great. I would literally say one must stay here if you come to ujjain. My overall experience is excellent. Thank you so much team Mahakal Dwar.

Visited the hotel few days back and my trip was not planned but on the way I booked the rooms using a booking application without any research. But above my expectations, the hotel is at a good location with good mannered and cooperative staff. Would recommend to stay here if can be.

Amazing place to stay if you are coming to ujjain. The hotel rooms are clean and the staff super corporative. Location is good near to all temples |Staff is warm and food is good|Overall a nice stay.
