Hotel Raj Shikhar and Restaurant

" I recently stayed at Hotel Raj Shikhar and was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and amenities of the room. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was spotless. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. I loved the view from the window and the overall ambiance of the room. It was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I traveled 1500 km and had pre-booked this hotel 3 days in advance, with 100% payment done online. After a long and tiring journey, in heavy rain, when I finally reached the hotel, they denied me check-in, saying the rooms were already booked via “offline.” What’s the point of accepting online bookings and payments if you can’t honor them? This is pure fraud and mismanagement. Standing there, drenched, with no other hotel options available in such a rush location, I was completely stranded. Such pathetic service, zero professionalism, and irresponsible behavior. They ruined my trip right from the beginning. Shameful experience – this hotel and the city left the worst impression ever. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED. Stay away if you don’t want your trip destroyed.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel! I had an extremely disappointing and hectic experience at this hotel. When we first checked in, we were given a room on the 2nd floor with a dirty washroom and an AC that wasn’t cooling. After raising a complaint, they changed our room — but the new room wasn’t any better. Within 15 minutes, the AC started leaking. We complained again, but this time the staff refused to fix it and instead told us to either sleep with a bucket under the leak or use the room without AC! When we requested a partial refund due to these issues, they rudely said the payment was non-refundable and offered us to leave if we were not satisfied. The management was completely unhelpful and careless about our concerns. I personally request everyone reading this – please do not book this hotel. It’s not worth the stress, discomfort, or money.

Very Poor. Room are so unhygienic and not properly maintained, bed sheets are also not clean, washroom is also not maintained and super unhygienic. Moreover the hospitality is also very poor, they didn’t provide the food and charge extra amount for weekend booking. Overall i never recommend anyone to stay there.

Very poor hotel. Photos shown online was very good but when we actually visited we found it very poor and ugly.Our personal experience is that this hotel is never be booked again. Rooms are of low category and price asked for them are very high. Very poor quality hospitality and services. Manager was very rude at the time of check-in, Fighting just for few rupees. Even though rooms have many mosquitos and dirtiness. Online booking website agoda is also very bad when we asked for cancellation it haven't accepted and said that the I'd is incorrect. Very bad,ugly, dirty.

Better not to book in this hotel. One of the worst hotel in ujjain. It's Better to stay on street or road side platform. If you want to stay in this hotel. Along with you SNAKES AND RATS also will be there. Be careful full

3rd class hotel. Fourth class also if it exists. Towels were stained with rust mark on it and looked to be in use since 10 15 years. Ac and fan remote was not given, bed sheet were torn. Bath room shower was leaking from joint. Not a single thing was good about it.

Everything thing was good, staff was well beheivour and coperative. Towels are little bit dirty but same changed with clean one. Overall good in budget.
