Hotel Mahakal Palace

Terrible Experience – Not Recommended at All! I visited Ujjain with my family and stayed at Hotel Mahakal Palace, but it was an extremely disappointing experience. The location of the hotel is terrible – it's situated right next to a dirty drainage, and the entire area smells horrible. The cleanliness inside the hotel is also very poor. The rooms were not maintained properly, and basic hygiene was completely ignored. The TV in our room wasn't working because they hadn’t even recharged the connection. There’s no proper in-house food service – you have to order from outside. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. To make things worse, the hotel manager was very rude and completely unresponsive to our concerns. Overall, I would give this hotel zero stars. It was a complete waste of money and a big letdown during our trip. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Third class hotel i will not stay here if it free also Dirty rooms and no geyser working Horrible service and illiterate staff not know how to talk wih customer Please take another hotel if it is slightly costlier than go for it but DON'T GO TO HOTEL MAHAKAL PALACE

Rooms - Rooms are just fine. No complaints. ||Bathrooms - They were clean but sometimes had no hot water. ||Food - No restaurant facility in this hotel. You can get only water/tea/Coffee. ||Staff - Staff was polite.||Location - 100 m from Mahakaal temple. And near all the restaurants and market. ||Overall it is a nice kinda homestay of you are going to stay for days with family. ||Tip - Try not book room on ground floor. Its noisy.

I have booked 2 rooms in this hotel from 26th to 28th Feb. 2023. Hotel representative asked to send 50% advance amount as Rs 1800/-. I have already sent Rs 1800/- as advance amount to the hotel account through netbanking 3.24 PM on 25.02.2023. Now they are saying that amount sent is not showing in their account & asked to send further Rs 1800/- in two times as Rs 1799/- and Rs 1/-. Then they(Hotel) will receive my booking. Beware of this hotel. Totally fraud hotel. And don't trust this hotel. Don't send any advance money to this hotel. Very mean-minded hotel representative.

Very bad experience, will not recommend at all. Except the manager(person whom we booked rooms online), all staffs having unprofessional behavior, very rude and non-cooperative. Worst rooms and worst room service. Not a good option for family stay.

not so good average quality of service. washroom cleaning was not good TAP was in leakage condition. No query will be raised to customer whether you want anything or not ? Even we have to ask for water. It should be automatically service by Hotel but it was not ?

This hotel is close to temple, that is the only advantage, rest all things like cleaning, rooms, washroom and staff behaviour is not good at all. If you complain for anything, staff will ask you to adjust just for a day or two. Search for some nearby places they have good rooms and professional staff who know how to behave with guest.

Trash hotel! Bathrooms are leaking! The rooms are so freaking dirty! The room even has a beehive type nest! Don't ever choose this hotel if you're staying in Ujjain! Even the staff is useless! Everything Sucks Here!
