Hotel White House

This is not a hotel at all previously it was some ones house, you have cross two DRAIN to enter hotel, hotel in a very narrow lane, you will find different young boys in different time of particular religion. They don't have any relation or respect about MAHKAL. You can't sleep as because no of children are playing in this lane till late night. They have all MCP (electrical switch)in front of main gate including AC as well as Geyser most of the time different young people will switch off your connection. I am sharing my experience while staying, I don't recommend anyone not to book this hotel. Don't be book this hotel at UJJAIN JAI MAHAKAL

The rooms are not the same as shown in the pictures. Worst hotel stay i have ever experienced. The owner has no sense of conducting himself and really bad service or i should say no service at all. The location and interior is really bad and unhygienic. Please avoid booking here.

The hotel is close to the main Mahakal Chowk but have to go through a series of steps and then a small gully to reach there. The rooms are small but the bed is big enough for atleast 4 people. The washrooms are a tad below average. Cleanliness wise consider it any oyo hotel. The room we received didn't have a working geyser (which was not known to us initially). The staff offered electric heater. Next morning, the water was over and we started calling the staff from 7am and after consistently calling the staff and owner the problem was solved at 7:35am and we had a bus to catch and so this was a big problem for us. The hotels in Ujjain are below average if you are coming from any city. All of them charge 1500 for AC rooms which maybe for 2 to 5 people. It is not a very luxury city but a religious one. You'll not find a window in almost all the hotel rooms you get except for a few like Mahakaleshwar Bhakth Nivas(hearsay) and it gets booked pretty fast. Toiletries are a luxury in budget hotels here. But all this doesn't matter as all come here for religious purpose and no one stays in the hotel except for freshening up and sleeping. Don't book this hotel charged twice 2800*2 for 2 nights AC room 1. No water supply 2. No wifi 3. No AC even paying for AC room service man said it's non AC but when we asked for refund he said it's AC. But when I asked to show by turning on AC he denied and not given refund. 4. No towel & soap 5. No breakfast 6. Not even bottle for free you have to pay 🙂Worst ever experience 7. No TV When I asked that when water will come at 2:00 am he said "sone dona bhai pareshan q kar re ho! Bola itni raat ko phone ni karneka Aur kaat Diya phone"🙂 Pov: Never book by call or online in ujjain you will find 1000+ hotels with half of this price with all 5* services! I travelled Dwarka, Somnath, Mumbai, Surat, Bhavnagar etc. price is almost half never gave more than 1200-1500 per night. Surrounding environment is also not good you will find better hotels which are not listed on map! However the the receptionist arranged other room for water in morning for 2/3 hrs for 1 day.

It is really tough to find a hotel that is worth staying at in such a crowded place. Fortunately, I got a safe and comfortable stay, and I was looking to stay with my parents. Especially the service, they are so humble and helpful. Guys, you can try this option if you're looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay.
