Hotel shivanjali palace

Wonderfully located hotel. Its nice and clean. Not like modern hotels, a bit old. But nice hotel. There's a restaurant downstairs serving amazing vegetarian food and reasonable cost. It is just in front of Neel ganga, a very auspicious place. It also has a Shiv temple inside. Just a kilometer away from the main Ujjain Market.

Worst experience in Ujjain just because of this hotel. The staff service and owner's behaviour is very bad using foul language for the guest. Technical fault in each and every electronic device. A/C doesn't cools the room as expected. Pests and rats in the room,lizards on the wall etc. stale food in lunch, dinner and breakfast. Overall very bad place to stay

Very Awful. Had the worst experience in Ujjain. Rooms are very messy and dirty and the key part is that the staffs,management are noncooperative and rogue. Pests were jumping around the rooms

Jai Mahakaal!! This hotel is located besides a river due to which it has an awesome environment and only 1.5 kms away from Mahakaleshwar, though the staff behaviour varies, there are 1-2 staffs very polite, infact we landed in ujjain at around 10.30 pm and the person I spoke was humble enough to give me a room (not prebooked) at 4k from 10.30 pm to 10.30pm next day which is unusual, Cuz here all the hotels charge as per 9am - 10 am no matter what time you enter. The real nightmare started when we entered the room and started availing for services, no towels, no clean washroom, no soaps, no proper latches in door and windows, requested for towels in the night and received in the morning after several requests. Well, coming to the food, first, not sure y but the food wasn't served in the rooms, we had to come down to the parking area in front of the reception to have dinner. Food quality is good but over charged. As suggested by my friends, please visit the hotels, check the rooms and the menu, confirm the services and then book the hotel in UJJAIN. Overall, it's not a very family friendly place.

Very nice and decent stay. Morning bliss. Rooms and toilets are spacious. Reception staff was very polite. Near and clean atmosphere. Full hindu religion vibes were felt in the morning . Will recommend if u need a peaceful and awesome experience.
