Hotel Shivlok

The hotel was excellent in terms of hospitality, ambiance, safety, and more. The owner and receptionist were very welcoming and treated us like family. We checked in two hours early, and they provided us with the room without any questions. The hotel also has a three-star-quality restaurant on the terrace. One major drawback is that I wouldn’t recommend booking their ground-floor triple-sharing room, as it is disconnected from the main hotel, which may cause discomfort for some, especially ladies. Another downside is that the geyser is small. Overall, I would rate it 9/10.

To be honest, unbeatable at the price that I got! I'm very happy with my stay and especially liked Ravi from the management team who helped me with all requirements and local transport questions. So, it's a new hotel at a bustling location and I stayed in the dorm. The beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are very clean, the amenities are perfect. Clean bedsheets, working personal fan, wifi, charging points, lockers(can bring your own lock). Most of all, the receptionists and hotel staff are very kind and considerate. PS: RO Drinking water is also available from a water camper I was told.

Mr. Shailendra, owner of this property was very cooperative during our stay there. This hotel has best bunk beds for budget travel as well as good rooms. I would suggest you to avoid classic triple which is on ground floor without balcony and is stand alone. Rest everything is good. On top there is an awesome restaurant and below there is a cafe. Transportation is easily available. Before visiting we searched for many hotels nearby temple etc. but this one is worth the money.

I want to share my experience at Shivlok Hotel. I came with my family for Mahakal Darshan and we stayed here for 1 day and I must say I just loved it. I really appreciate there work, they are very much cooperative, helpful and there hospitality is just awesome. We got 2 superior rooms and both are just wonderful. Rooms are well maintained, clean and spacious. The environment and location is also nice. If I talk about the food it was above my expectation level. The food was very tasty and service of all staff was great. I would literally say one must stay here if you come to ujjain. My overall experience is excellent. Thank you so much team Shivlok.

They r group of hotels in same premises we booked thirth at Rs.2800 per night but we got rooms at shree palace with shivlok Lodge got us a room, service is pathetic none know hospitality bathroom sink so small you can't even wash hand as tap is very near touching the sink, comedy lid is sticked with tape while sitting on it you r so uncomfortable as you head nd back touches the water storage, you can not close the lid, Many more to say but overall not worth.. lastly when I asked for checkout bills they gave me on a letterhead where the charges r 2000 but I paid 2800 per night... very unfortunate that I oversight as I stated Ab0ve... booked thirth seeing the website but got into shivlok... pls be aware. My worst experience... very upset nd unhappy overall. This hotel is at the best place possible and has the best price. I stayed here for 3 days and it was Fantastic. The rooms were clean, the washroom were big and spacy (they were not very small like the other hotels here). If you are a bachelor traveling on a vacation or with family, you must stay here. The hotel also has terrace restaurant at top named "Sonu's" which has the best service. Must stay at this hotel!
