Taj Alibaug

It was an amazing stay! I had planned this as a surprise birthday getaway for my partner to unwind. Although we noticed a couple of minor issues in our first room, Mr. Lalit, the Duty Manager, handled everything with such care and professionalism. He immediately addressed our concerns, upgraded us to a better room, and even arranged a sweet birthday surprise, which made the experience extra special.||The food was another highlight of our stay. The chefs truly cook with heart—from the wide variety of fresh breakfast buffet options to the delicious à la carte menus at Aparanta and The Konkan Café. We tried the veg biryani at Aparanta and it was one of the best we’ve ever had! If you’re looking for authentic Maharashtrian non-veg food, The Konkan Café is the perfect place to dine.||The property is spacious and surrounded by greenery, with great amenities like a game room, swimming pool, and cycling activities. Overall, it’s the perfect weekend getaway destination.

Taj keeps up to its reputation. Had a wonderful time here with family. The place is amazing and soul touchingly quiet. The service is amazing and the food was particularly very much palatable. The evening high teas are filled with local folk songs and performances. You can simply spend a long weekend here without being disturbed and enjoy the entire time.

It is the best Taj for us so far, no cap! I wanted to gift an experience to my husband for his bday and the manager Rahul Gogia made sure we are not just satisfied but delighted in the best way possible! Our room was upgraded to a lake view Villa, as a surprise, and it was decorated with bday wishes and chocolates and cakes. |Staff- The staff were very polite, friendly and dedicated to their work. The people were adding to the overall vibe of happiness and positivity |Property- the property is vast, surrounded by lush green trees, lake, and they even have a temple inside! We loved the swimming pool, it was clean and smelling fresh. |There are cute bunnies and ducks roaming around that add to the beauty! |Overall, whenever we visit Alibaug next, it has to be Taj Alibaug for us!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and creates a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. What stood out the most was the staff – exceptionally friendly, courteous, and always ready to help with a warm smile. A special mention to Ravi Kumar from The Konkan Café, who was extremely helpful, and Pritesh at Aparanta, who made sure we got everything we wanted with great care. Their genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable.

What a wonderful property!! Beautiful green lush gardens, perfect swimming pool for everyone in tjr family….the icing on the cake was ‘Turf’ huge turf which has both football and cricket ground…most of the guest kids came together and we had gala time playing cricket. I would also like to give 10 on 10 for the hospitality & humble staff. Vijay Thakur our guest manager made a smooth check-in and made sure about our comfort during entire stay. Very helping staff and always smiling, 100% must visit. We stayed in lake view Villa which we got as free upgrade 😉and it was spacious ❤️

The room was spacious. It was a spectacular stay thanks to the elegant design, top-notch amenities, and attentive staff. I like the musician who played flute in the morning 7:30 am to 10:30 am. It was mind blowing. Food was awesome. Will plan again to visit this property for mind refreshing.

Wanted to visit Alibaug since last few weeks to enjoy the weather...went there on 1st weekend of October..Chose newly opened TAJ property...Property is quite nice, big and perfect for Family/ couple stay...Welcome traditions followed by welcome drink was served on arrival ..Special thanks to Mr Vijay Thakur (Front office operations) for upgrading us from Luxury room to PRIVATE VILLA (few pics uploaded) and clearing few doubts very patiently on EPICURE membership card which I had.....Property has quite big pool and for all age groups (3 sizes for toddlers/ kid/ Adult)..Evening was highlighted by high tea followed by Marathi traditional dance/ piano performance. Was really amusing...Kids play room is very entertaining (all kids will love it and will not like to leave it)...My son enjoyed rabbit catching the most (pic uploaded)...It's a lush green property with some ducks and rabbit around (Pets). |Overall, the stay was very entertaining and was fully enjoyed by us...Room upgrade was a cherry on the top...Will suggest anyone/ everyone to visit this lush green property without any doubt...

Really disappointed with the overall experience at Taj Alibaug. The service lacked the attention to detail one would expect from the Taj brand. Breakfast and evening tea were quite chaotic — the staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage the crowd efficiently. The rooms in the old building definitely need some upkeep; even basic things like toiletries weren’t properly arranged. I had made a request in advance for a cake and some simple decoration, but the team seemed unsure about it at check-in, and the cake never showed up. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience and not in line with the Taj standards I’ve known and appreciated elsewhere. Having always been a big fan of Oberoi hospitality, this stay has only reinforced my admiration for how consistently thoughtful, polished, and effortless their service is.
