Hotel Meera Madhav

We had travelled to Alibagh by own Car for a short holiday and sightseeing.It was 15th August. I had told a local to book a room for one night. We had arrived in the afternoon and went straight to the hotel. My wife went to see the room, but was not satisfied by its condition. After inspecting many rooms, we finally agreed for the suite on its 3rd (or maybe 4th floor) which was its best room. ||Although the room was clean and hygienic, the bathroom was not in a very good condition. The room had a typical misty smell and only after sprinkling of room freshener, we could settle in the room. The A/c was working fine, but the bed was not very comfortable. We also had a baby with us, but this hotel was not at all kids friendly. ||The reception area is big, but not attractive. The elevator was very old one and in desperate condition- it was stinking badly. This hotel does not have its own kitchen, so the food can be ordered from the outside. ||The hotel has few parking slots, but it does not have any garden area. Being bang opposite to Bus Stand and in the centre of city, it is for those travellers who has to spend very few time in the hotel and it is definitely not recommended for families travelling for enjoyment. It was a bad decision on our part to stay in this hotel, specially when we were having our own vehicle.

We were on a week trip in kokan. Alibaug was our first halt. We visited it in sept. We reached alibaug.as the hotel is near to bus stand,it doesnt us much time to find it. Hotel is realy nice.The rooms are quite good and vry wel maintened. The services provided by the staff are good. Staff is cooperative. Non veg food was amazing.

We booked this hotel for our weekend stay in Alibaug ...There may be positive things written about the hotel is location... opposite to the Bus stand thats it....time of bookin they tell me beach is nearby.. but actually it is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel...after 9 or 9.30pm u dont even think to roaming around near the hotel with your Spouse.. coz of local (Desi) Bar's ...u found many drunk ppl. on the road..||Service: All the staff are not at all customer focused...they really don't care..they really don't even ask for a glass of water... ||Rooms: The rooms have a strong musty smell...AC is nt workin properly ...(very old n noisy) Ceiling & Wall leakage....they joint two single Bed ..n thats really very pain full to sleep...Pillows so hard and blanket are very dusty with holes.. toilet flush is not working....bathrooms stink. No amenities provided. The bathroom is not cleaned....really very unhygienic.....

hotel was a disaster. rooms are as bad as one can imagine. bathroom windows have no glass cover, no inside lock in the bathroom. beds are very uncomfortable. we booked thru makemytrip for 30.3.13-31.3.13. it was a bad experience.||Soumya Majumdar

Nice stay mahn...close to market main city, bus depot, ATM, ice cream parlour, famous Paani Puri stall...and best is that it is also 10 mins (walking) away from Alibaug beach. Good Service..but ya they don't have kitchen so get ur food from outside or they will get it for u . I always stays there...Love u Meera Madhav team...keep it up.

Rooms are nice. A huge effort put in by the signage person. No room service. No intercom to call for room service. The numbers on the website no one replies. Waste of money thoroughly... At the Main entrance a black irritated dog is kept tied, who keeps barking all the time. The man behind the counter is a potential Ramukaka of tomorrow in Ramsay's upcoming (Horror) movie.

Awesome place to stay in decent budget. Close to beach and major local market with restaurants around. Take upper floor rooms for comfort and nice stay.

it was an budget hotel in alibaug ,anyways you are not going to stay in hotel all day , going to the beaches nearby will be a better option . Although it is far from the best beach near alibaug named kashid , it was a decent stay , lot of mosquitos though in the rooms , which went away after we complained and they sprayed the hit.
