The location is serene with a beautiful valley view and a private swimming pool, the villa did not match the images shared online. red aluminum sheets have been installed on the balconies and one side of the villa, obstructing the view and taking away from the scenic beauty we were expecting. Though the property is spacious and private, the misleading photos were disappointing. Also, they charge extra for using kitchen.

Rooms are good and of decent size. The mountain view, sunset and pool is really good.. the best part is the food.. you don't need to go out. The food taste is really awesome and prices are reasonable.. I will say really good property if you are in a big group rather spending too much on hotel stay.. We visited during summer but as it rained that day the weather was too good..

We had a disastrous experience with this villa, as they cancelled our booking just 10 days prior, citing unconvincing reasons. Despite booking a month in advance, they showed no regard for our time. It's disheartening to encounter such poor hospitality. Be cautious, as this couple may cancel bookings for trivial reasons, prioritising extra profit over customer satisfaction. We strongly advise against booking with them to avoid wasting your time and money

This is one of the best properties to stay in Panchgani. The rooms are nice and cozy and the washrooms are absolutely clean. We were a large group of 20 people and the caretakers Ajay and Sahil were always ready to cater to our needs. The owner Soumik is also very helpful and called us twice during our 3 night stay to make sure we are comfortable and if we need anything. The best place on the property is their swimming pool area. Its an infinity pool with the best view and a small platform near it to relax and enjoy the windy evenings. Food is a highlight and out of 9 meals, our 7 meals were at the villa. From South Indian to Chinese to Fast Food to North Indian cuisine, everything was excellent. They also have a barbeque incase you wish to avail the facility. There are two things of note. 1) The access road to the property is a kachha road and though there is no problem going downhill towards the property, it was very difficult to to take our fully loaded cars uphill towards the main road. One had to drive the car uphill and the passengers had to walk almost halfway to the main road. This is not the property's fault though since they have tried to get the road made but government denies them permission since the area is declared a forest zone. 2) There are problems with the government supply of electricity and even after a lot of complaints, the issues remain. There were electricity outages but the property has a generator and the caretakers promptly turned the generator on as and when required. All in all, we had a great time at the property.

The villa is located near a picturisque valley with an infinity pool. We visited the place with 2 furry family members and they had a blast and we had so much fun watching them. The owner and the support staff were present throughout our stay to ensure we had a very comfortable stay, they were very warm and welcoming. The food was amazing, they take great care in making authentic and custom food per your requirements. It's a must visit especially if you are traveling with pets.

However, do plan ahead as the farmhouse is a bit secluded from the markets. Stocking up on essentials before arrival is advisable. The access involves a slight off-roading adventure down the hill, adding a touch of excitement to the journey. If you seek a peaceful haven with picturesque views, Shimmer Valley Farm House is a hidden gem worth exploring.

Location and ambience is good. Well maintained swimming pool with nice view of mountains. Our overall stay was average but their food (especially barbeque) spoiled whole mood. On top of that managers behavior was rude & totally unacceptable. Guests are not welcomed here. Definitely not recommended.
