The Redwood Resort Matheran

The food at this resort is excellent, and I would gladly rate it 5 out of 5. However, the hotel's service is extremely poor, and the Wi-Fi facility also needs improvement. Most concerning of all, I personally witnessed them mixing bathing water with drinking water, which is absolutely unacceptable. We raised this issue with them, but I am unsure whether any changes will be made.

Redwood Resort is conveniently located next to the police station and offers a vegetarian dining option. The food is decent, with a spread that includes two types of vegetables, salad, rice, dal, roti, basundi (dessert), buttermilk, and fryums. It has buffet system with dining tables. The resort also features a pleasant waiting area with swings, a kids' play zone, and games suitable for all ages, making it a great place for families to relax. P.S. I haven’t personally stayed in the rooms, but I did notice a complaint about a potential robbery in one of the rooms during my visit.

Redwood Resort Matheran This was my first time visiting Matheran and it was a wonderful experience for me to stay at Redwood Resort such an affordable price to stay along with better Accomodation and best food for lunch & Dinner 🍽️ but I have to say that for washroom facilities.. there should be two different space for Bath and toilets overall nice experience for me so that I will give you 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is extremely dirty and poorly managed.The hotel seriously needs to evaluate options for improving general cleanliness.Had one of the worst experience in my life.Staff are terrible....front desk guys were worst and indifferent..i went with friends and they have no consideration...rooms are worst quality. Room was dust central, dust had settled everywhere Under the bed was filthy with dirt and dust looked like it had been forgotten about by the cleaner. Rude service, problems related to air conditioning. Issues with room assignment, issues with humidity control, pricing and quality of hotel food, concerns over potential leaks in room. Waste of money in red wood resort I wanted to write more but i think it is waste of time. Consider me , dont go with this THE REDWOOD RESORT

Located in middle of Marheran Hill Station. Just opposite Police station. During peak days, canteen services get disturbed, however , Food Quality is satisfactory.

Very poor condition of room, old, soggy,dusty and unhygienic room. Price is too high for resort condition. Fraud staff and manager also owner is not responsible person. Very bad food. Very poor bathroom condition. Hot water not available Bath towel not available Water leakage in all room. If you want to throw your money go there. Request all to not go there.

I recently stayed at Redwood Resort in Matheran and had a disappointing experience. Our room had several issues that made our stay uncomfortable: • No charging plug: We couldn’t find a functional charging plug in our room, which was quite inconvenient. • No towels or dental kit: Basic amenities like towels and a dental kit were missing. • Lack of cleanliness: The room was not clean upon our arrival, which was very disappointing. Overall, the lack of basic amenities and cleanliness made our stay less enjoyable. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the experience for future guests. Feel free to modify it to better reflect your experience.
