Royal Hotel Matheran

We booked on spot to enjoy few hours in hotel and swimming. But they charged for full day and that too a cost of a 4 star hotel. We only wanted to stay for max 5 hours in afternoon. Better to book online. Lunch was also not good. Sugar was put in all the food items. Only enjoyed swimming in the swimming pool.

The price is reasonable. Rooms are average. Outside food is not allowed. Veg hotel and therefore you cannot bring non-veg. At the back of the room door, detailed rules are written. The staff is good. The option of a room with food or without is available.

Rooms were pretty ok... the location is awesome and they provide only vegetarian food that is also good quality. The pool is small but no music around.Need to maintain more on the cleanliness side.

No hot water available in rooms even though it is a cold place Update: They provided 2 buckets of hot water immediately after.

Very third class hotel, no wifi, no network, swimming pool is very small and dirty. No housekeeping, dont book online. We have very bad experience. The washroom was very dirty. I highly recommend dont book this hotel as they are not profeasional. Food was tasty but no hygiene. Staff was very rude and totally illitrate. Swimming pool looks like a drainage flowing on the floor. Please don't refer online we picture of the hotel tottaly fake. Overhall bad experience.

My experience with this hotel was pathetic.Firstly the service was too late. When we checked in, the room was too dirty and they took about 30mins more to clean it after the checkin. Overall food is good,at the time of booking they said will give you deluxe room but I don’t what deluxe they mean, rooms are not maintained properly bathrooms leakage,Ac leakage problem They are not give any service one time very bad experience with royal resort and their Staff They don’t even deserved 2star ratings

I had stayed in this hotel with family... no value for money.. poor room service.. small and dirty rooms.. overall non huygen hotel. Dining room is so dirty you dont feel like to have food there. Food is ok. Not wow. Swimming pool water is dirty. Tv is not working. No hand soap in the bathroom. Not a tall good hotel. Dont think to sray here.. will give 1 out of 10 ..

It's worst hotel. The rooms are unmaintained not at all clean .service is poor. tv was not working. Rooms are stinking so much . Swimming pool water is too dirty and uncleaned. Waste of money . Mattresses of bed and pillows are sticking fungal.
