Hiral Residency Hotel

Very very Unhygienic place and the bathroom was pathetic not worth for money, very rude host… The rooms seems totally different from the photos we see and book… please go for some resort option If you gave hygiene at top most priority.

We stayed in 501 on 1st Nov 2024 Hot water problem . Room is very cozy & congested for 4 people . Toilet was continously stinking . No any view from this room . Ac was continously tripping on and off . Ac water was creating a mess in window balcony so we kept window closed all the time. Blanket and mattress were very unhygienic.

The Hotel is at a great location near the main market with valley views from the rooms. Matheran station is also just 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel. The only thing I disliked was the bathroom. It had a very weird smell that we had to use perfumes every time before using it.

Rooms are very good newly renewed with balcony matheran hill view it is 2min from market road and located in Local residential area Which is advantage. Rooms service is good specially mr Roshan. Also seprate Wifi with good speed.Must visit.

The rooms are a little congested. Rooms have no place to hang clothes or to keep bags. The blanket had a musty smell and weren't freshly changed. Main light in the room wasn't working. Only night light and a small bulb was working. Because of the monkeys, the windows can't be opened. Considering the pricing, taking AC rooms here is not worth it. Room didn't have towels and basic toiletries like toothpaste and soap. After asking the attendant, one towel and two soaps were given. The towel was rough and didn't feel clean. The hotel doesn't settle the final bill at the checkout. Something as simple as packaged water bottles have to be bought by handing cash to attendant who runs to the market to get it. Hot water is only available in the morning and the bucket has to be given from the room which is then filled and returned. Considering the rent, it is not worth staying here.

At first I thought it was fake but it's a really good hotel at this price and I recommend this hotel if you have to stay in Matheran. Thank you

Valley view room was excellent...cleanliness inside room was good..only when you open window some bad smell comes from rubbish thrown outside..but the view was amazing. There was a 24 inch smart TV in the room which connected to wifi and we were able to watch you tube but no TV channels. Wifi worked properly.. I would advice travellers to strictly drink bisleri water..do not drink water provided by hotel..we fell sick after drinking water provided by hotel..food from hotel was bit too spicy but tasty..hotel staff was cooperative and polite.
