NillLords Central is an old style property located at a convenient area. It gives vibes of the era gone by and literally takes you back in time. The room we stayed was the valley view which gives an awesome sight of the rising sun on khandala point. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available and the menu is a set one per day. Other things include the swimming pool, badminton court and table tennis. Location wise it's walkable distance from the Bazaar and yet very calm from the outside noise. As name suggests, the property is managed by the Lords family who are very polite and soft spoken. Same is also evident from the courteous behaviour of the staff. Overall a very nice place to stay if you like the old style.

NillWe recently stayed here, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience, especially considering the high rate of ₹5400 per night. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this establishment has not kept up with modern standards. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this establishment has not kept up with modern standards. Firstly, the rooms were incredibly outdated. The furniture looked like it hadn’t been replaced in decades, and the musty smell was unbearable. The bed was uncomfortable with lumpy pillows, and the linens looked worn out and not properly cleaned. The bathroom was even worse. The fixtures were rusty. Hot water was available only for 3 hours in the nothing. The cleanliness was highly questionable, with mold in the corners and a constant damp smell. It’s a shame because the location is beautiful, but the lack of care and investment in the property is evident. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Matheran. There are far better options available in the area that offer better value for money.

NillWe recently stayed at this charming hotel with an old-world charm and stunning views. The owners, who are such gracious hosts, made our experience truly memorable. The property is maintained like a home and the staff is very courteous and helpful. The food was exceptional. Despite its convenient location, the hotel feels secluded, offering a perfect retreat. It was an unforgettable experience, blending history, hospitality, and natural beauty.

NillOne word: PATHETIC It’s a haunted museum. Our kids and family couldn’t sleep all night. The place is so old, not renovated since 30+ years. Electrical wiring and switches are 50 years old. Television is 40 years old. Dirty vibes all over the rooms. Outside is still bearable but inside the rooms, it is stinking and unbearable. We saw people not checking in to the hotel after looking at the rooms, despite paying in advance. Makemytrip and Goibibo, please delist this hotel. It’s a rip-off. REQUEST TO OWNERS: PLEASE RENOVATE OR SELL OFF THIS PROPERTY. DON’T MAKE US WASTE OUR HARDEARNED MONEY

NillLords Central hotel at Matheran is a beautiful, old heritage place to stay. One should take cottages facing the swimming pool as the view is breathtaking. One gets to see the sunrise from the rooms itself. We were lucky to view the beautiful full moon rise too from outside our rooms. The hotel has a badminton court, table tennis, carrom board games too. It had a small library and lovely green surroundings. The food here was quite tasty especially the non-vegetarian food (as was told to me). Vegetarian food was okay. However, the staff was very cordial and served food lovingly. Breakfast was included in the room rent. The only issue was that payment was to be made in cash only for which no receipt was given.
