Green Field Resort

I would rate between 3-4 or 3.5 for this resort. The place is around 1 KM away from the market but the advantage is that it is near most of the tourist attraction points like Echo point and Charlotte Lake. Room service we did not try but Breakfast was awesome which only consists of Vegetarian items. We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff is very polite. At night after 6 the place is pitch dark with no lights on the road which makes the place scary to explore at night. It is family friendly as my kid lived playing outside with the games.

Extremely bad. Power cuts were there, during evening and nights. The staffs were doing nothing. Poor service. Bad behaviour. Insects in the rooms. Bad smell in rooms.Leaking water from ceiling. We have booked the Resort for my birthday. I just spoiled my birthday.Dont book this place ever.

The resort is at a beautiful location very near to all the famous view points in Matheran. It's a good property but not that well maintained. Lights, Fan, Geyser and AC were not working when we reached. Lights and geyser were fixed promptly but we had to deal with the slow fan and non working AC. The bed linens were dirty. Cupboard broken. The bathrooms were clean, so +1 for that. Food and Service was top notch. With a little maintenance and cleanliness this place can be a perfect vacation spot.

Do not waste money here. The room was horrible and stinky and there was water leakage in rooms. The road to this stay was very secluded with no proper guidance on how to reach. Not a family friendly place. We had complimentary lunch and breakfast, the food was not edible. Do not recommend

Location - Very interior without proper road and there were no sign boards Room - Cheated by giving semi duplex room by charging for duplex room. No cot or bathroom in duplex room. Misrepresentation in images, complete fraud. Cleanliness and hygiene - ZERO. Horrible maintenance. Everything is so dirty. Staff - Terrible and rude.

Great location and rooms are well built from the outside. However interiors and furniture is terrible. Poor cleanliness standards of rooms, linen, cushions etc. Tables are all rusty. Staff is polite and helpful but lack professionalism and service standards. Poor management, very low and untrained staff. Extremely poor food quality. No cleaning room service and replacement of towels/bedsheets done. Electrical appliances inside the room like A/C, geyser do not function properly. Overall a great location and property however tremendously let down by poor management. This place has great potential need to revamp the management.

Rooms were rusty as well and dusty. There are no sign boards and difficult to navigate from city center even in day time. In night it's close to impossible. There are no Street lights on the route of this place. The restaurant food is good. But staff is little wired and non cooperative, you have ask for basic room service at least twice. Price of this place is always high but you will get many other better options less than this cost

The property is not suitable for family. we had bad expectations with our stay. the food was not of a good quality. My 2 year old child had stomach infections after eating food from hotel restaurant. Anybody has any questions, we can connect with all evidence i have got.. She is admitted in hospital.. we regret going to this hotel.. We also have gastric issues a day later. sharing some pics so that you get some view.. pls don’t go by postivie reviews it is misleading. another problem this hotel is located extreme end of matheran hills.. horse and hand cart will charge you extra 400 rs. we paid premium price due to new year eve. PLS CHECK THE RESTAURANT MENU I HAVE ATTACHED.. BY LOOKING AT SPELLING OF MENU ITEMS YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE QUALITY..
