Had a wonderful weekend stay at this hotel in Matheran! The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the valley—absolutely mesmerizing. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall ambiance was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food was excellent, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options being delicious. The quality and taste exceeded expectations. The owner was polite and accommodating, making our stay even better. For ₹1800 per person, the experience was totally worth it. Our stay at Ovi Cottage was truly memorable! The natural surroundings were breathtaking, and the food was absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service, every request was met with a smile. A special mention to the owner, Sushant, who was super friendly, always ready to help, and guided us whenever needed. The rooms were spotless, and every facility was well-maintained to perfection. While the location is slightly away from the main market, it’s just a quick 7–10 minute walk. But honestly, with such an amazing view, it’s totally worth it!

Ovi Cottage – truly the best in Matheran! Experience to believe. Whenever I visit Matheran again, I will only stay here and nowhere else. Small tip: call the host before booking. Clean rooms, stunning views, best food and an awesome host. Both veg and non-veg food is home-cooked. The service is exceptional, and the host, Sushant and his family, are incredibly humble and welcoming. You won’t find a better host anywhere. He made sure every little detail was taken care of. His recommendations for local spots, toy trains, horse rides, his timely guidance, thoughtful surprise treats and his exceptional photography skills went way beyond our expectations. Sushant's dedication to making his guests feel special is truly unmatched. I will not reveal the details to not spoil the surprise. Truly a worthy experience.

Had a great experience Staying at Ovi cottage. The owner was very friendly. Owner and there family had awesome service. Rooms were clean and well maintained. It has got nice balcony view with excellent mountain view. Home cooked food was very delicious.
