Ovi cottage Matheran

It is a must visit place…the experience was to good. And the view in front of the cottage is to die for. The owner and the family is very good. They really are the finest of people. The points to visit are close to the cottage. I went for birthday surprise and they cooperated with me a lot they did and they excelled at it. And the food is also nice. I am more than excited to visit there soon again.

I recently stayed at this hotel just a 15-20 minute walk from Aman Lodge, and it was an amazing experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a scenic valley view from the balcony that was simply breathtaking. The homemade food was delicious, adding a warm, homely touch to our stay. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the owner and his family—they treated us like family making our stay feel special. With affordable prices and such welcoming service, this hotel is a hidden gem worth visiting.

It's a cottage & owner stays below. Excellent hospitality & homemade food Maharashtrian food. The view from the balcony is superb & basic room amenities are available. The best part is the Owner - Shri. Sushant is a nice, humble, sincere & responsible person who will guide you brilliantly & will arrange Horse also for sighting seeing as he & his close relatives are having own horses so the rate is on the much lower side. Matheran is 02 days trip & most of it can be covered. Anyone who is interested for basic room but with excellent view from the balcony/room can definitely book Ovi Cottage. Thank you.

Cottage location is too good.Rooms are also very nice and clean. Services are also provided on time. Very nice cottage to stay with friends, family and couple. There is no restriction of anything full enjoyment is there. Food is very awesome and tasty 😋 They provide horses also to go on different different spots...

Wonderful experience of stay at Ovi Cottage. Clean rooms with balcony having beautiful view of mountains, Nice hospitality. Yummy homemade food is added advantage. If planning to visit Matheran, forget hotels and stay at Ovi Cottage.

This stay was more than a just another stay on a hill station where you just come back in the night to eat and rest. The host, a very humble guy, really puts in the efforts to take great care of people who stay in this cottage. The view is simply breathtaking, where in the morning one can see beautiful picturesque landscapes and in the night, one can clearly see the Orion's belt. The house is kept pretty clean, good accomodation overall. Nice place to stay. PS: The kheer is to die for! Recommend: 10/10

This place is a hidden gem We stayed at for 2 nights. The view was fantastic. owner's family has good nature they treat us like a family. Food is very nice 👍. It's totally home cooked. Cooking done by owner's family. Hot Water available 24×7. advice from me is if you’re planning to do sightseeing on horse You must go with The person himself 'Sushant" he Takes nice pictures and shoot, really good Videos of yours. It was the perfect getaway. Highly recommend it! 😊🌿
