The worst begging hotel I have experienced in India. In fact, this Masjid area is full of beggars on the streets, but the hotel is also full of beggars under the name of staff. Even when he saw an empty beer bottle that I got outside hotel and had finished, he begged me a new beer, and even when he saw a half-empty bottle of whiskey, he begged the rest. No way. When I checked out, two begging staff asked me baksheesh for the service they provided. Service? I did not receive any special service. In fact, in my five-night stay, there was no room cleaning. The bathroom and a dust bin were cleaned only once, no towel change no floor cleaning. Also, I already gave tips at each time. I told them, "A tip is money that I give you according to my satisfaction for your service. If you want baksheesh, sit on the street and beg from passersby." At other hotels which I stayed in other India cities such as Agra, Buddha Gaya, Rishikesh, Shimla, and Jodhpur, hotel staffs provided wonderful and comfortable hospitality to me, but they even did not accept my tips. I had to force them to accept my appreciation. The custom of begging money to foreigners in Mumbai is terrible.
