Hotel city point

The rooms pics shown on various platform are of the time when this was newly constructed. Currently in December 24 all rooms their locks, almirahs washrooms everything is in bad shape. They don’t provide any toiletries as mentioned in make my trip or similar platforms. I recommend to get better options in same price or much cheaper place with similar facilities. For every small thing they ask you extra money.

I booked a room through MakeMyTrip and reached this hotel in Shirdi around 9 AM with my family. An old lady at the counter informed me that I needed to wait until 12 PM as per the rules. However, she demanded extra money if I wanted the room earlier. Or asked us to wait in the lobby till 11 am and then they would allocate the room is I donot want to pay extra. She was very arrogant and unsupportive. In the hospitality industry, one is expected to be courteous and respond in a better manner. Her rude behavior surprised me. Even the MakeMyTrip team couldn’t help. I could understand if the rooms were unavailable, but they were available, and she was still demanding extra money to allocate one early. Despite paying the full amount, I decided to leave and booked another hotel nearby where the staff was courteous, polite, and welcoming. I would never recommend this hotel. I don’t want to name this old lady, but please understand that representing a hotel requires professionalism and hospitality. Such behavior does no good to the place where you work.
