Hotel New Mayur

I recently stayed at Hotel New Mayuri in Keonjhar town, and I have some negative remarks about my experience. Despite paying for a deluxe AC room, the hotel didn't provide complimentary toiletries like shampoo, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the bed sheets were dirty and unhygienic. The uncovered bed made it difficult to sleep due to the smell. Additionally, I didn't receive a complimentary mineral water bottle, which costs only Rs. 15. Instead, they provided a used bottle for drinking water through room service. While the hotel's location in the town is perfect, the condition of the room needs significant improvement. The bathroom tap water flow was very slow, making it time-consuming to fill a bucket. For the price of less than Rs. 1600, I expected better amenities and cleanliness. This hotel might be suitable for short stays of an hour or less, but for an overnight stay, it's not recommended.

My family and I were returning to Kolkata from Bilaspur hence we needed a to halt for a night before continuing our journey onwards. We came across this hotel and I really have to list down all of the things that made us feel icky and grossed out. First of all, let me start by saying I do not exactly judge a book by it's cover so when before entering the place when we took a look at the hotel we wanted to give it a try because it was rated as "3.9 stars" on Google reviews so we thought it wouldn't be that bad, right? Nope, we were completely wrong. Beds were made, yes. But the bedcovers has a musty smell and the blanket covers weren't washed. There were used towels dumped into our wardrobes.The bathroom was absolutely disgusting (the wash basin and the commode had stains). The geyser wasn't working and there was water leaking from the bathroom ceiling. The service of the hotel staff wasn't that great either because the thing is this hotel doesn't have a lot of customers so they do not maintain it like a hotel should. So if you want a budget stay with your family don't go for this hotel. You will not have a pleasant stay.

No parking available.. just a road side parking and that too filled with locals parked their bike everytime have to call someone from the reception to make the space for parking .. please don't drive to this hotel otherwise hotel is good

Nice hitel. Price is good also neet and cleen rooms and ac are good i stayed almost 11days with a good experience. Easy to access just 500meters from govt bus stand...

Neat and Clean Space, hygiene rooms. Restaurant has good ambiance and food is tasty. Authentic Odisha dishes are yummy

Booked for 2 nights. Rooms were old & not clean. Bed sheet were not clean.Look after the Cleanliness
