We reserved a room for a four-day stay at this hotel, but to our dismay, the room we were given was far too small for a family of four. It felt incredibly suffocating. After voicing our issues, they upgraded us to their "executive room," which was better than the previous room, but the service was still subpar for the amount that we were paying. When we requested an additional mattress, they provided us with dirty and torn rugs. The bathrooms were also less than satisfactory, with an old commode and tap. I fully understand that the hotel is quite old, but why hasn't the hotel been renovated? This hotel is not worth the high daily rate for the rooms. The only redeeming factor was the food as it was wonderfully cooked all the times of the day that I ate there, but everything else was disappointing. Just because the hotel's location appears to be excellent, don't be fooled into booking a room here for the sake of convenience. You'll quickly realize it's not as convenient as it may seem while booking.

Hotel Anurag offers a convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from the railway station, making it ideal for travelers. However, considering the price of around ₹2000 per night, there are better options available in the area that offer cleaner rooms and better amenities. The room I stayed in was small but clean, including the bathroom, though the sealed windows meant there was no fresh ventilation. The approach road is currently a mess due to civil work, so it’s advisable to arrive by car to avoid mud splashes. The breakfast buffet needs significant improvement, and it would be helpful if the rooms provided basic amenities like a tea kettle and tea bags. The hotel is near a large market, so accessing essentials is easy. While it’s within walking distance from the station if you’re traveling light, you might need an auto-rickshaw if carrying heavy luggage. For the price, Hotel Anurag could do better in terms of cleanliness and services, making it a less favorable option compared to other nearby hotels.

Nice hotel at rourkela Name hotel anurag we came with our friends to visit rourkela & staying this hotel. Room was neet & Clean they have room service & resturant Name Gokul .it's pure veg restaurant .front office staff are very helpful with good manager also. Thank u I will recommend all to stay there

Please don't ever visit Gokul restaurant. It's third class service and poor management is so very horrible. Even waiters are arrogant ..

Had a wonderful experience.Every staff i met, were very helpful and polite. The rooms were very clean and comfy. I would highly recommend this hotel at this price budget.

Hotel rooms is good under 2k plus tax including complementary breakfast 🥞🍳🥞🍳. Telephone 📞, television 📺 not working properly from any room. Geyser not working. Lift facility available. Breakfast food is good. South Indian dishes are available for a limited time daily. Hotel need to focus on room amenities.
