Hotel SB Residency

I recently stayed at SB Residency in Amritsar, and I must say, it was an excellent experience! The hotel is ideally located just 200-300 meters from the back entrance of the Golden Temple, making it incredibly convenient for anyone planning to visit. The staff is extremely polite, always ready to assist with a smile, and their hospitality is top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was welcoming. I would rate my stay a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amritsar

Overall very excellent staff, very near to Golden temple especially if you are going with aged people.. room service available but not so many food options in house kitchen itself. Location was the major concern to us because though it was walking distance from back gate of Golden Temple but it was far off from Main market and Town hall area. So, if you want to go there, lot of time and resources need to be put on battery rickshaws. Otherwise, a good and comfortable stay in Amritsar.

My experience was very different from other guests. I was alloted room 201, which was next to the kitchen. I was with my family and toddler, so staff ensured we had full access to the kitchen for emergency hot water or milk requirements. We were also given free hand in boiling the mil bottles for reuse. I would rate their hospitality 100 out of 100. Also, the biggest benefit is the location of this property. It's 2 mins walk towards the back entrance (Langer side) of golden temple. Must book without any apprehensions!

I recently stayed here for a day and i must say this hotel is good because they have clean rooms, good services and helpful staff and most important hygienic washroom that’s most important thing to me and good thing is that golden temple is just 100 meter away from this hotel so that you can go at night without any hesitation

Location is good,Staff is Very polite but need some improvements. 1.There is no lift You have to carry your luggage to the third floor by self. 2.No Space for even parking a bike . 3.As we stayed there was electricity cut for 2- 2 hour intervals in whole night and there is no windows in a room.You will feel suffocation in a room.

Very clean and hygienic room. Lift is not available. However staff and services are good. Low budget and very near to golden temple, jaliawala bag and market place. Very crowded area so reaching to the hotel is possible by auto rikshaw only. Triple bad AC room are too good for small family stay. Within 500 mt distance, golden temple and market can be visited by walking.

Our room was very nice, comfortable and clean and at a good price. The location is just a 2 minute walk to Golden Temple. Staff were very hospitable and kind people (thank you kuldeep ji 🙏). I also enjoyed their cooking. We are very happy we stayed here. -Tim and Julie (Australia)
