OYO Hotel Avtar Residency

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. Basic amenities such as handwash or soap were not provided, which is something every guest expects. The washroom facilities were poorly maintained, with broken taps that made it very inconvenient. Even after repeatedly requesting, the staff did not bother to change the bed sheets or pillow covers, and the pillow cover provided was extremely dirty. Overall, the hygiene and service standards were well below expectation. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable stay.

Worst Experience Worst service Owner is very rude not providing proper solution for quiers. Bathroom overflowed Quality of rooms very bad 👎 Never visit place.

Worst service no water supply the reseption people didnot listen. They switch off the AC at night so the you wont know. Asked for the GST bill and for thay they asked for extra money.

This is the worst hotel, I had experience with. They have opened the hotel to fool people. The rooms are dirty, cockroaches in the hotel, no gyser in the room, they don't provide drinking water to customer, no fans in the room, if the electricity goes off, they don't have generator too. They don't change the pillow covers and bedsheet or clean bathroom and room floor after the previous guests checkout.There is leakage on walls and ceilings, which they don't repair and they charge 1200 to 1500 for such rooms.Worst hospitality ever experienced. The owner is rude, don't have manners to talk to the guests. He just ask to pay the amount in full upfront, and then in case of above issues, refrain from refunding the amount.

Firstly a suggestion for Google- Please do keep ratings in minus as well :-) Secondly, a strict no to go for this property to any traveller who is looking for a reasonable priced hotel near the Golden Temple. This hotel is way more pathetic than what you can think of a worst hotel may look like. I felt pity for the staff/receptionists working there as they are helpless and have almost nothing to offer- courtesy their Owner Boss, who I am sure is vacationing and enjoying life king size. The rooms are filthy, amenities which are being promised on the site have long been extincted. The photos available on site are the ones taken when the hotel was first made and unused. Condition now is not at all acceptable. The reason I forced myself to stay for one night was that this one was my first visit to this place and just didn't want anymore hassle.

Horrible service. Poor cleanliness but the owners are jolly, although absolutely non-professional and careless. They do not have fixed rates for rooms. Location wise, great for golden temple and jaliyawala bagh, but no cab pick and drops in nearby regions. Preferable to stay at a distant location and move up and down rather than stay there.

I had done the online booking for 1 day but when I reach to the property front desk said please cancel your booking through Oyo and make a direct booking with us with higher amount. Post the arguments, they finally gave the check-in. When I checked in the room, washroom was very stinky, toilet seat wasn't working, LCD not working. I asked to change the room, but that another room has different bigger problems like LCD not working, Fan was not working, switch boards weren't functioning to charge the phone, etc., bedsheet & blanket was very dirty and washroom, bucket & mug was very dirty and stinky. AC was working but remote was missing to set the temperature and it wasn't at all comfortable to sleep overnight. I asked for the basic things at the time of check-in like soap, shampoo, towel, pillows, water bottle. I checked out but nothing was provided at all except pillow. I also faced power issue at the night multiple times and there is no power backup. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay this worst hotel and staff even for a day. Thanks!!

Don't stay at this hotel. I had a booking for 2nd October and 3rd October was the checkout. I had made the booking through OYO app. When I reached the hotel I was told that the fare would be higher as against shown in the app. I was surprised(he said you can talk to customer care) but still paid him what he was asking as I didn't want my family to suffer the scorching heat outside. Next morning he called me and said that it's time to check out and switched the ac off. No regard for customer. No facilities as shown in the app like Wi-Fi or lift etc. Don't ever stay at this place.
