Hotel Kabir Residency

Very good accommodation near golden temple. Both the golden temple and Jallianwala bagh was very close to our stay. The reception was very easy to contact and he was in touch one day before the arrival. Everything was so smooth. You should consider if you are planning to visit Amritsar.

We stayed for a couple of nights in the family suite. At such a price the family suite is just amazing. Very spacious and clean all around. Located very near to the holy Harmandir Sahib (Golden temple) & Baba Deep Singh ji Gurudwara. The staff is very good and very helpful. They got us cabs and rickshaws whenever needed. They provide excellent service. Only food and beverage orders take some time which is more than usual otherwise everything is perfect. The owner Harmanpreet Paaji is a great person and very helpful. I recommend this stay for a good stay with family near the temple.

It is very nice place to stay with family we come from mauritius 🇲🇺 and stay loved this place just five minutes walk from golden temple we stayed in family suite it's very spacious room neat and clean they also provide us cab for wagha border helpful staff...

We stayed recently & the staff are thieves there, we forgot our mobile in the room mistakenly & came down for check out & the staff was not courteous enough to give back, rather he switched off & stole it. As we remember the last call we had received was in the room a few minutes before leaving the room..just in couple of minutes The staff who went to check the room, stole it.The owner kept protecting the staff, such behaviour reflects the dignity & honesty of the people. We couldn't do much for mobile last minute as we had to take the flight.. But I would highly recommend you to stay at a safe place even if u have to pay little extra as the staff are not trust worthy. The experience was worst of the trip so far.

I would like to share my experience about this hotel in terms of Pros and Cons: Pros: 1. Location only Cons: 1. Rooms are not good, very contested. Pillow covers, bedsheet and quilt was dirty. unhygienic at all. 2. Staff is like pathetic, non co-operative at all. If you need anything you have to call and follow them again and again but they won't listen. 3. Food quality is very poor. I ordered Tea twice and they served hot water only. No taste nothing. 4. I checked out early in morning, receptionist and his helper were sleeping, they won't bother to check and help you out during check out. 5. Last but not the least, Staff asked for their tip everytime without any hesitation. So disgusting at all.

We stayed this place with my family in 2 bed room. It was a 3rd class hotel. It was big mistake to choose it for our stay . No service no help from any of service boy . They marked as 3 star hotel, not worth 1 star hotel . Don't book this hotel. You have walk for minimum 1 km to reach temple . Its back side of temple .
